Liujiazhan Township

Liujiazhan Township belongs to Yujiang District, Yingtan City, Jiangxi Province. Covering an area of 48 square kilometers, it has seven village committees and a population of 13788 in 2017.

Setting up background

In January 2014, in order to straighten out the management system of state-owned land reclamation enterprises, strengthen the social management of land reclamation enterprises, and promote the healthy development of land reclamation, Yujiang County was approved by the provincial people's government and approved by the Provincial Department of civil affairs to adjust the administrative division and set up liujiazhan Township in liujiazhan farm.

The newly established liujiazhan township has seven village committees, namely zongmaogang, Luoyuan, Liujia, Sunjia, Lilong, Sujia and Guanfang, and the township government is stationed in Liujia village committee.

This is the first new township approved by Yingtan City since 2001.
