Luoping town

Luoping town is located in the southeast of Wuning County, Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province, with Jiuling mountain in the south, Zhelin Lake in the north, Yangzhou in the East and jiaowu line in the West. The market town is only 16 kilometers away from the county. It is the South Gate of Wuning county. The town has a total land area of 240.8 square kilometers, 5 administrative villages, 65 villager groups and a total population of 15827. In 2005, the fiscal and tax revenue was 2.143 million yuan, and the net income of farmers was 3 821 yuan. Luoping town is an agricultural township with 15127 agricultural population, accounting for 95.58% of the total population. Changshui forest tourism resort: located at the foot of wulingyan mountain in Jiuling mountain range and adjacent to Jing'an County in the south, it is a key forest village in Wuning county with excellent ecology and rich resources. The village has 7 villager groups with a total of 2233 people. It covers an area of 84 square kilometers, including 124000 mu of mountain forest, with a forest coverage rate of 93.7%. It has won a series of gold lettered signboards such as national green well-off demonstration village, national ecological demonstration village, national ecological cultural village and civilized villages and towns in Jiangxi Province. There are mainly four tourist areas in the scenic area: sports and leisure entertainment area, yew themed health preservation area, mountain folk custom experience area and mountain B & B Resort (yueshanju forest tourism resort). Five groups of B & B have been built, including qilixi, cangxia, yuekengkou, yanggangzhou and Zhuangyu, with 102 B & B and 286 beds. The average annual income of each household is about 27000 yuan, and the total annual income of B & B is 2.75 million yuan. There are 11 farmhouses in Changshui, which can serve 1500 people at the same time. The total annual income of farmhouse is 2 million yuan. Yueshanju forest tourism resort: it is the core scenic spot of Changshui forest tourism resort. The project focuses on living in elegant wooden houses, eating local vegetables, enjoying beautiful scenery and forest health preservation. Taking forest health preservation as the main line, the project aims to build a comprehensive rural tourism resort integrating accommodation, catering, health care and elderly care, leisure and entertainment. The project covers an area of 20000 square meters, with 21 wooden houses (60 beds), one comprehensive reception center and one agricultural products exhibition and sales center. The construction started in March 2018, the first phase investment has reached 30 million yuan, and it will be put into trial operation in October 2018. It has built wooden house residential area, outdoor development experience area, agricultural products exhibition area and hydrophilic area.

Millennium Taxus group scenic spots: there are more than 270000 Taxus in Luoping of wulingyan mountain range, and 17 rare Taxus chinensis in Changshui village, with an average height of 20 meters and a circumference of 2.5 meters. The thickest ones are not close to each other.

Under forest economy in Changshui: under the guidance of the government, the village has made use of good ecological resources to develop such under forest economic industries as yew bonsai cultivation (500 mu), characteristic breeding (10000 local chickens), honey (4800 boxes), Lentinus edodes, bamboo shoots, alpine organic tea (1100 Mu), with an income of more than 60000 yuan per household and an annual total income of nearly 30 million yuan. It has realized the magnificent turn from "going out to work to returning home to start a business" and "from selling wood to selling ecology".
