Huangzhou town is located in the southwest of Anyi County, Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province, 12 kilometers away from Anyi county. The traffic is very convenient, and the secondary road directly leads to the seat of the town government. It is 70 km away from Nanchang City, 45 km away from Changbei International Airport, 120 km away from Jiujiang port, the largest port in Jiangxi Province, and 40 km away from xinqizhou station of Beijing Kowloon Railway.

Historical evolution

This place was originally called Huangzhou. After the Huang family settled down, it was called huangjiazhou for short, so it was named Huangzhou. Before the founding of the people's Republic of China, it belonged to Huang'an township; after the founding of the people's Republic of China, it was divided into three townships: Huangzhou, Qifang and Xinfu; 21 junior societies, such as jianhuangzhou, merged into 8 senior societies during the cooperative period. Huangzhou commune was set up when it became commune, and it was changed to township in 1984.
