Qianqi Town, belonging to Fuding City, Ningde City, Fujian Province, is located in the northeast of Fuding City, bordering Jiayang Township in the southeast, Dianxia town across the sea in the southwest, Shanqian street and Guanling town in Fuding City in the west, and Cangnan County in Zhejiang Province in the northeast. The total land area is 99.11 square kilometers, of which the land area is 85 square kilometers, accounting for 86.1%; the water area is 13.7 square kilometers, accounting for 13.9%. In late 2018, the registered residence of Qiqi town was 45482.
Qianqi town is named after Qianqi mountain. It is also called Qiyang. In August 1968, Qianqi commune was established. In 1983, it was changed to Qianqi district. In 1987, it became Qianqi town again. In 2000, Jiayang township was established in qiangqi town with 12 villages, namely Jiayang, Houyang, Zhoushan, Jiatou, longtouwan, Shangan, sanqiutian, Anren, Xiangyang, jiaodang, luochun and Shuanghua. As of June 2020, there are 2 residents' committees and 19 villagers' committees in Qianqi town.
In 2018, there were 9 industrial enterprises in Qianqi Town, including 9 above scale enterprises and 3 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
Historical evolution
The Three Kingdoms belong to Jian'an County, the Jin belongs to Wenma County, the Tang belongs to Changxi County, the yuan belongs to the sixteen capitals of yurenli, Quanru Township, Funing Prefecture, and the fourth year of Qianlong (1739) of the Qing Dynasty when Fuding was established as a county, it became a capital.
