Fengpu Township
Fengpu Township, belonging to Gutian County, Ningde City, Fujian Province, is located in the northwest of the county, adjacent to Pinghu in the East, Fengdu in the southwest, Pingnan in the northeast and Jian'ou in the northwest, covering an area of 195.36 square kilometers.
In 2019, it has jurisdiction over 13 administrative villages in Fengpu, Pingsha, Jitou, sudun, Fuquan, luanlong, zhudun, Guanting, Xixi, Zhenbian, Dongxi, Beixi and Jiuzhen. In 2018, the registered residence population of Feng Po township was 18067.
In 2017, the gross national product of the township reached 1.31 billion yuan, and the investment in fixed assets of the whole society was about 200 million yuan.
On June 29, 2020, it will be included in the list of provincial rural governance demonstration towns.
Historical evolution
In Song Dynasty, it belonged to murenli, the hometown of Enhui.
From Yuan Dynasty to Ming Dynasty, it was the sixteen capitals of Enhui township.
In the Qing Dynasty, it belongs to the sixteen capitals of BEIXIANG.
During the period of the Republic of China, it was changed to Fengpu Township, the first district.
At the beginning of liberation, it belonged to the second district. In 1952, it was set as the Tenth District. In 1958, it was returned to Pinghu commune.
Fengpu people's commune was established in 1963.
In October 1984, it was renamed Fengpu township.

The 20000 mu forest farm run by the township has a forest stock of more than 1 million cubic meters, 26600 mu of arable land and 258600 mu of forest land. The installed capacity of the hydropower station is 800 kW, with an annual generating capacity of more than 5 million kwh.

Baiyan cave
BAIYANDONG scenic spot is located in the forest farm management area of Fengpu Township, Gutian County. The highest altitude is 1589.6 meters, and the average altitude is above 1200 meters. It is surrounded by 20000 mu of forest, with a forest coverage rate of more than 95%. It is rich in negative oxygen ions and is a natural forest oxygen bar. The scenic area is rich in animal and plant resources, including Taxus, Pinus taiwanensis and other precious plants, pheasant, macaque and other rare animals.
Mireuksa
Maitreya Temple is an ancient temple registered and certified by the minzong Bureau in Fengpu township. It is located by Cuiping lake opposite fengchong natural village in Fengpu township. It was built in the fourth year of Xiangfu in Song Dynasty (1011 AD). Later, it was destroyed in the war. In 1727 A.D., Lin Zhenqing, the ancestor of Lin in Fengpu village, rebuilt Maitreya Temple. In the autumn of 1939 (the 28th year of the Republic of China), Ming Hui, a monk and nun of Chongsheng Temple in Xuefeng, led his disciples to the abbot of the temple. After 1979, he lived in niederong. In 1989, villagers raised funds to rebuild Maitreya Temple. In the same year, Maitreya Temple was listed as one of the scenic spots for one-day tour around the lake. On November 15, 2008, due to mismanagement, the main hall was destroyed by fire. In February 2009, master Lin of Fengpu village specially hired master Pu Chang of Xuefeng to take over Maitreya Temple. Master Pu Xiang, together with the reconstruction Council of Maitreya Temple headed by Lin Yaotai, financed the reconstruction of Daxiong hall and invited back five bottles of Buddha statues.
