Tiechang Township
Tiechang township is a town under the jurisdiction of Changting County, Longyan City, Fujian Province. It is located in the north of Changting County, 15 kilometers away from Changting County, with a total land area of 77 square kilometers. Surrounded by mountains and continuous mountains, it is a famous forest paper area.
In 2019, the township governs 4 administrative villages (Zhangdi, Tiechang, Yangfang and Ludi), 43 natural villages, 2080 households and a total population of 6850. There is one primary school, one health center and one rural credit cooperative in the township. The middle school has been merged into Longyu middle school in the urban area.

Tiechang township is located in the north of Changting County, Longyan City, Fujian Province. Adjacent to Anjie Township in the East, Datong town in the south, Jiangxi Province in the west, Ninghua county and Jiangxi Province in the north, it is the junction of two provinces and four counties. It has jurisdiction over Tiechang village, Zhangdi village, Ludi village and Yangfang village, 4 villagers' committees, 40 village groups and 49 natural villages, with a total of 1189 households and 6183 people.
Historical evolution
Tiegong township was established in 1949, changed to Tiechang commune in 1961, and changed to Tiechang Township in 1984.
Climate and environment
Jigongdong in the north of Tiechang township is 1390 meters above sea level,
Furu Jiguan, the mountain extends to the west, there is a unique landscape of Tianhua mountain, 1200 meters above sea level; the Northeast has a beautiful Dabei mountain, 1243 meters above sea level. The mountain forest is dense, the wild animals and plants are various, and the mountain streams and springs are murmuring. Tiechang has a subtropical marine monsoon climate, with an average annual temperature of 16-17 ℃, an annual rainfall of more than 1700mm and a frost free period of 227-250 days.
economic development
The territory is mainly mountainous, with an area of 113112 mu, including 104338 mu of woodland and 60213 mu of Phyllostachys pubescens, with a forest coverage rate of 83%. The township has 2380 mu of arable land and 816 mu of effective irrigation area. The main resources are Phyllostachys pubescens, Pinus massoniana, miscellaneous trees and Taxus chinensis, which are rare trees in China. There are iron, lead-zinc, gold and other mineral resources in the territory. The township has three power stations with an installed capacity of 500 kW and three reservoirs with a total capacity of 1.15 million cubic meters. The township has completed the transformation of rural power grid and five Township run enterprises, with an annual output of 500 tons of tipping paper and jade button paper, more than 300 tons of machine-made jade button paper, more than 300 tons of canned water bamboo shoots and 400 tons of bamboo incense core.
