In Ming Dynasty, it belonged to Tieshi Township, zaifangli, including Xishan, Xiaoyang, Chenpi in the western suburb of today's urban area and houbeiyang, zhangbaitu, huangzhukeng, Chikeng, dagetou and other villages in the northern suburb. From the Qing Dynasty to the early Republic of China, it was part of Xishan society, Chenpi society and waijiangshan society.
