Taoquan town

Taoquan township is located in the western mountainous area of Cixian County, 50 kilometers away from the county. The Township People's government is located in Hanjiagou village. It is adjacent to Baitu town in the East, Taicang Township in Shexian County in the west, Baitu town in the South and beijiabi Township in the north. Walnut, persimmon and Zanthoxylum bungeanum, the main fruit products, have been designated as the township of forest region, also known as the township of firecrackers and the township of Zanthoxylum bungeanum oil.

Taoquan commune was established in 1961 and changed to township in 1984. Chakou township was incorporated in 1995. According to the official website of Cixian people's Government in 2015, the township covers a total area of 102.5 square kilometers and has jurisdiction over 22 villages, including 21445 mu of cultivated land, 6195 households and 20185 people, all of whom are Han nationality. Taoquan township is located in the mountains, rugged terrain. Most of them are above 500 meters above sea level. Among them, Lufeng mountain, located in the southwest of the township, is 1088 meters above sea level, the highest place in Cixian county. the soil is calcareous brown and calcareous stone. The total cultivated land is 19200 mu, all of which are dry land. The rocks on the mountain can be seen everywhere, which is very unique.
