Jiulongling forest site is located in the west of Longhai District, Zhangzhou city. It is located at 117 ° 37 ′ 30 ″ - 117 ° 45 ′ E and 24 ° 20 ′ - 24 ° 25 ′ n. It is adjacent to Dongsi Township and ShuangDi overseas Chinese farm in Longhai City in the East, Chengxi town in Longhai District in the west, Changqiao town and guanxun town in Zhangpu County in the south, and Jiuhu town in the north. The site is located in Dongtou village, Chengxi Town, Longhai City, 21 km south of Zhangzhou City, 1 km away from southeast Huadu (Huabo garden on both sides of the Taiwan Strait).

The site is located in the Coastal Hilly Area, with an altitude of about 150-350 meters, the highest is 540.7 meters, the lowest is 25 meters, the slope is 20-30 degrees, the thickness of soil layer is generally 40-100 cm, the humus layer is thin, and the soil physical and chemical properties are general, mainly Latosolic red soil. The site conditions are poor. The site quality grade of forest land is 272 mu of class I, accounting for only 0.7% of forest land; 13818 mu of class II, accounting for 33.7%; 25591 mu of class III, accounting for 62.4%; 1300 mu of class IV, accounting for 3.2%. The main vegetation are mangjigu, wujiemang, ferns, miscellaneous irrigation and so on. The climate belongs to south subtropical marine monsoon climate. The annual average temperature is 21.4 ℃, the maximum temperature is 38 ℃, the minimum temperature is 0 ℃, the frost period is short, and the annual average rainfall is 1450 mm.

Resource status

The total operating area is 41568 mu, including 40982 mu of forest land, accounting for 98.59% of the total area, and 586 mu of non forest land, accounting for 1.41%.

The forest coverage rate of the forest farm was 89.8%, and the forestland greening rate was 94.9%. There are 37317 mu of forest land, including 37276 mu of artificial forest, accounting for 99.9%, and 41 mu of natural forest, accounting for 0.1%.

The total forest volume of the site is 222896 cubic meters, and 51 hundred bamboos. Among the existing woodlands, the volume of artificial forest is 222570 cubic meters, accounting for 99.9%; the volume of natural forest is 349 cubic meters, accounting for 0.1%.

The Department consists of six departments: office, finance department, production department, Distribution Department, diversified operation Department and forest protection team. It has four working areas: jiulongling, kanshan, Gutian and Beijing.
