Laidian town
Laidian Town, known as "Nanfeng" in ancient times, is a commercial gathering point at the junction of Xianyou and Jinjiang counties. It is the key hometown of overseas Chinese in Xianyou County and one of the southwest portals of Xinghua Prefecture.
Laidian town is adjacent to Jiaowei town of Xianyou County in the East, Luoxi town of Jinjiang county (Luojiang District) in the west, Yuanzhuang town of Xianyou County in the south, Linan town of Xianyou County in the north, Fengting town in the southeast, Gaiwei town in the northeast and Longhua Town in the northwest.
Laidian town has 212 provincial roads running through the territory, which can reach Xianyou County and Fengting town. Laidian town is 15km away from Fuxia Highway 324 in Jiaowei Town, 20km away from Fengting port area in Meizhou Bay, 50km away from Xiuyu port area (Hushi) in Meizhou Bay. Xiangang Avenue, Xianwu highway, Laiyuan highway and Sanpu highway in Laidian town are connected with Fengting, Longhua, Yuanzhuang, Linan, Jiaowei and Licheng towns in Xianyou County.
In 2017, the administrative area of Laidian town was 8008 hectares, with a permanent population of 52971.
General situation of villages and towns
Laidian in Xianyou County is commonly known as Nanfeng. It is said that in the Ming Dynasty, the Lai family gathered here to set up shops and do business. It is a provincial star town and a key hometown of overseas Chinese in Putian City. It is located in the south of Xianyou County, on the South Bank of the upper reaches of Mulan River, between east longitude 118 ° 39 '- 118 ° 43', and north latitude 25 ° 26 '- 25 ° 23', with an altitude of 60 meters. It belongs to hills and basins, and is adjacent to Licheng District of Quanzhou in the southwest.
Historical evolution
In the second year of the first Yuan Dynasty of the Western Han Dynasty (85 BC), it belonged to Yexian County of Yangzhou (in Rongcheng).
In 196, the first year of Jian'an in the Eastern Han Dynasty, it belonged to Houguan County of Yangzhou. Ye County was renamed Houguan county.
The third year of Wu Yong'an (260), the grandson of the Three Kingdoms, belongs to Dong'an County of Jian'an county. Fujian Province set up Jian'an county (in Jian'an county), and the south of Houguan county set up Dong'an County (the predecessor of Nan'an county).
The third year of Taikang in the Western Jin Dynasty (282) belongs to Jin'an county. In the south of Jian'an County, Jin'an county was set up (in Houguan county), and Dong'an County was changed into Jin'an county (the predecessor of Nan'an county).
Sui kaihuang nine years (589), belongs to Jin'an County Nan'an county. Jin'an county was renamed Nan'an county.
Sui Daye three years (607), belongs to Jian'an County Nan'an county. Jian'an county is located in Min county.
Tang Wude first year (618), belongs to Jianzhou Nan'an county. Jianan county was changed to Jianzhou (in Min County, moved to Jianan County in the fourth year of Wude).
Tang Wude five years (622), is a Fengzhou Putian County. Putian County is located in the middle and lower reaches of Mulan River in the northeast of Nan'an county.
In the second year of Tang Shengli (699), it belongs to Taiping Town, Xianyou County, Wurong Prefecture. Five towns of Qingyuan, Youyang, Taiping, Fu'an and Shibi in the west of Putian County and four villages of Tianma mountain (Jiulin, Jieshan, xiuxi and Baitong) in Nan'an county are located in Qingyuan County.
The first year of Tang Tianbao (742) belongs to Xianyou County, Quanzhou. Qingyuan County was renamed Xianyou County.
Song Taiping Xingguo five years (980), is Xinghua army Xianyou County. Xianyou County changed from Quanzhou to Xinghua army.
In the 26th year of song Shaoxing (1156), it belonged to xiangshanli and yongxingli of Xiude Township, Xianyou County, Xinghua army. Remove towns and set up townships.
In 1442, it belonged to xiaorenli, Jiahe Township, Xianyou County, Xinghua Prefecture and yongxingli, Xiude township. Xiangshanli was abolished and attached to xiaorenli.
In 1482, it belonged to xiaorenli in the upper district and yongxingli in the lower District of Xianyou County, Xinghua Prefecture. The township system will be abolished and two districts will be set up.
In 1646, it belonged to xiaorenli, Jiahe Township, Xianyou County, Xinghua Prefecture and yongxingli, Xiude township. In the Qing Dynasty, the system of Tongming was abolished and the system of returning to hometown was changed.
From Song Dynasty to Yuan Dynasty, it belonged to Xiude Township and Jiahe township; from Ming Dynasty to Qing Dynasty, it belonged to yongxingli and xiaorenli; from the Republic of China, it belonged to Chengnan Township and Xiaoren township; after the founding of the people's Republic of China, it belonged to district I, District II, Shanwei district and Chengguan District; in September 1958, it established Laidian commune; in December 1984, it was renamed Laidian township; in November 1992, it was renamed Laidian town. It has a mild climate and abundant rainfall. The annual average temperature is 22.2 ℃, the annual average rainfall is 1200-1900 mm, and the annual average frost free period is 280-315 days. It is suitable for planting a variety of subtropical crops.
Laidian town is rich in mineral water, hot spring water, pyrophyllite, kaolin, clay, quartz, granite (also known as barley stone), quartz diorite (commonly known as qingtoushi), Blackstone, etc. Clay is the raw material for firing bricks and ceramics. Granite, quartz diorite is the building garden decoration carving materials, outdoor large sculpture to indoor ornaments, daily utensils and so on. The contents include stone square, stone pillar, ancient gate, stone window, desk, stone table, fish tank, stone lion, Buddha statue, etc. Quartz ore, each of which has a natural chrysanthemum shape as soon as it is unearthed, is a natural and exquisite handicraft. Black stone is a good material for inkstone processing. A small part of pyrophyllite, kaolin and ore are made of carving materials with the same quality as Shoushan stone. It is rich in longan, watermelon, banana, eel, Shuanghua pear, mat grass, loquat, citrus; the main agricultural products are: rice, sugarcane, peanut, vegetables, soybean, corn, sweet potato, mushroom, Brazil mushroom, etc. Famous and special products include betel nut taro, jiudi tea, soy sauce, sugarcane, etc.
Laidian town is famous for its outstanding people. There are Mingfeng temple, Dongshan temple, baishiyuan, Fenglin temple, Shaoshi memorial hall, Dongxi reservoir and Guyang reservoir.
There are also some scenic spots, such as the ancestral mother of the Dharma Master of Shengquan, the millennium old camphor of Zheng house, the tomb of Zheng Liangshi, and the tombstone of Chen Xie. Traffic situation
212 provincial road runs through the territory. It is 15km away from Fuxia highway, 50km away from Meizhou Bay and Xiuyu port. Xianwu highway, Laiyuan highway and Sanpu highway are connected with Longhua, Yuanzhuang, Linan, Jiaowei and Licheng towns in Xianyou County. Plain village roads are basically cemented. Electricity is about 2.11 million kilowatts per month. The total electricity consumption has a certain growth trend every year. The 35000 kilowatt substation with an investment of 6 million is stepping up construction and is planned to be put into operation by the end of this year.
The town has an installed capacity of 14000 units, all of which are programmed telephone exchange. Mobile phones, China Unicom and PHS will be set up to expand the coverage of mobile communications. Laidian radio and television building, with an investment of 900000 yuan, has been put into use. There are 5450 cable TV households, with an occupancy rate of 30%.
There are two large and medium-sized reservoirs, Dongxi and Guyang, with a total reservoir capacity of 44.82 million cubic meters. Agricultural irrigation water mainly relies on Dongxi and Guyang reservoirs and Longxing baishichi reservoir with a total reservoir capacity of 100000 cubic meters. Dongxi water diversion project provides domestic water for seven villages including Xiangling, Jintian, Tushan, Zhangpu, Xipu, Qianpu and Laidian, benefiting more than 6580 households.
Historical changes
Located in the southeast of the county, 6 kilometers away from the county. After 1991, the township government was set up in Tushan village, covering an area of 3801 square meters with a total construction area of 2388 square meters. Laidian Street includes old street and new street. The old street, 300 meters long and 2-3 meters wide, is a double-sided street with cobble pavement. In 1960, the street was 600 meters long. Xinjie is located in Tushan village. It was built in 1972. Now it is 400 meters in length and 8.5 meters in width. It has been reconstructed twice in 1985 and 1991. Chaiqiaotou street is located in Jintian village. The inner street is an old street. In the Republic of China, the street was 108 meters long and 3.5-4 meters wide. In 1970, the new street was basically formed. In 1987, the street was widened to 22 meters, and a 300 meter long new street with residual oil pavement on both sides was built, with a total construction area of 14970 square meters.
Wudun street is located between yudun village and Yushan village. It formed a small market in the Republic of China. After the 1950s, it became a double-sided street with a width of 45 meters and a width of 5 meters. After 1970, villagers built houses on both sides of Shanwei yudun highway.
