Ankai Township

Ankai township is located in the middle of Huangqi Peninsula, Lianjiang county, Fuzhou City, 40 kilometers away from the county seat. It has jurisdiction over 11 administrative villages. The 3.6 million cubic meters guopoxi reservoir is the "green treasure house" and "source of life" of Huangqi peninsula. GAOTANG, Wenwan, Houcai, Qida and other deep-water ports have a long coastline and vast sea surface. Ankai Township, formerly known as Anhai, was renamed in April 1979 because of the same name as Anhai in Jinjiang. It is located in the middle of Huangqi Peninsula in the northeast of Lianjiang county, Fuzhou City, adjacent to Huangqi Bay in the south, kemenkou of Luoyuan Bay and dongchongkou of sandu'ao in the northeast.
