Madianzi town is located in the southwest of Lixin County, 9 kilometers away from the city. It is adjacent to Xifei River in the East, Chengguan town and Chengji town across the river, Wangshi town in the north, Yongxing Town in the west, cihuai New River in the south, Huji town and daliji town across the river.

The fubeng highway and Fumeng River in madianzi town cross the border. On February 27, 1992, Madian district was withdrawn and merged into townships. Yongxing Township and Shuanglong Township were abolished and Yongxing Town Committee of Lixin County of CPC was established. Yongxing Town People's Government of Lixin County was abolished. Historical evolution

Before the establishment of the county in 1965, madianzi belonged to Fuyang County, which was called yanlingji in the Qing Dynasty. It was granted by Wu Jizha in the spring and Autumn period. In the 23rd year of the Duke of Luxiang (548 BC), Jizha was granted in Yanling (now Changzhou City, Jiangsu Province), which was called Yanling Jizi. In the 23rd year of Lu Zhaogong (519 BC), the commander of King Liao of Wu conquered zhoulai (now Fengtai County), and restored Jizha to zhoulai, so it was called yanzhoulaijizi. There is also Yanling street in this collection. In Guoyang County annals written by Yi Chou of the Republic of China, the area of Yanling collection is called Wu Jizha Gufeng. On October 1, 1949, after the founding of the people's Republic of China, Madian district was established. Since then, Madian Ziji has been the headquarters of District, township and town organs. On September 12, 1964, the people's Committee of Anhui Province reported to the State Council: "taking lixinji, the highway intersection between Fuyang and Mengcheng, as the center, Lixin County is set up from Fuyang, Guoyang, Mengcheng and Fengtai counties." On October 31 of the same year, the 148 th plenary session of the State Council adopted the decision to establish Lixin County. On May 1, 1965, the people's Committee of Lixin County was set up under the preparation of Fuyang Commissioner's office, which consists of ten districts: Wangren, Wangshi, Madian and Huji, Yanji, Jiangji and Zhangcun, Keding and Zhangou, and Wangting, respectively.
On May 1, 1965, Madian commune, Maqiao commune, Taoyuan commune and Yongxing commune of Madian district were transferred from Fuyang county.
In 1969, the district was withdrawn and the Madian commune was established.
