Guji town
Guji Town, belonging to Jieshou City, Anhui Province, is located at the southernmost end of Jieshou City, bordering on Quanhe River, Wangji town in the north, Zhuanji town in the west, and Shuzhuang town in the East. There are 9 village committees, 85 natural villages, 42758 mu of arable land and 36593 permanent residents (2017).
economic development
Guji town is a typical agricultural town with a single economic structure. The main income of farmers depends on migrant workers and livestock breeding. The town's animal husbandry has begun to take shape. There are more than ten large households of cattle breeding and pig breeding, and the scale of planting off-season vegetables in plastic greenhouses has been formed. Located in the middle of Guji Town, it is the seat of the town government. The village governs 10 natural villages, including Jixi, Jidong, Guxi, Gudong, Jiazhai, yingxiaozhuang, xiaolizhuang, yinglaojia, yingxiaomiao and yingzhai, with 3602 people and more than 3480 mu of arable land. 2、
Nanli Village
Located at the southern end of Guji Town, it faces Niuzhuang township of Linquan County across the Quanhe river. It is a combination of Nanli and Yangxin villages through village level zoning adjustment. It has jurisdiction over 10 natural villages of yinglou, yingchangzhuang, Lizhuang, xiaoyangzhuang, lidukou, zhangtai, Yuanzhuang, jingwan, Yangxin and Yanglou, with 4778 people and 4977 cultivated land. 3、
Yuzhuang Village
It is located in the southeast of Guji Town, bordering Shuzhuang town. It was formed by the merger of Yuzhuang village and duanlou village in 2007. The village governs 10 natural villages, including liheying, duanlouzhuang, duanlouzhai, Guozhuang, Jianglou, Yuzhuang, Fangzhuang, Wangzhuang, Yanzhuang and Luzhuang, with 6498 people and 8299 mu of cultivated land. 4、
Xiaoliang Village
Located 2.5km to the east of Guji Town, the village has 3874 people, 980 households and 4864 mu of arable land. It governs 8 natural villages and 2 village branches, including lizhangzhuang, lilanzhuang, chuliangwang, duanxiaozhuang, Longwangmiao, jialaojiachengzhai and xueshiyuan. 5、
Liuhu Village
Located in the northeast of Guji Town, the village governs 13 natural villages, including chengcan, wangdezhuang, Dongyu, Xiyu, Qianyu, chenglaojia, chengxiaozhuang, daliuhu, xiaoliuhu, chengxiaolou, niuzhangmiao, xiaotanghu and Gongzhuang, with 1018 households, 4168 people and 4996 mu of arable land. 6、
Dacheng Village
It is located in the northwest of Guji Town, bordering Wangji town. The village was formed by the combination of daiqiao and Dacheng. It has jurisdiction over 13 natural villages, namely Gezhuang, daiqiao, Dalizhuang, yangezhuang, jiaomuyuan, yangmazhuang, chengzhuyuan, Dacheng, Xuzhuang, xiaochengzhuang, wangnanhu, chengwuzhuang and Sunzhuang. The village has 5763 people and 5590 mu of arable land. 7、
Liu Laozhuang
The village is located in the west of Guji Town, adjacent to Zhuanji town. The village is a combination of Zhangqiao village and liulaozhuang village. It has jurisdiction over 10 natural villages, including liulaozhuang, Dahou, Xiaohou, Guozhuang, XIAOZHANGZHUANG, liuxinzhuang, Zhangqiao, yangpengzhuang, Zhangzhai and zhanglvxu. The village has 5152 people, 1296 households and 5592 mu of arable land. 8、
Huwan Village
It is located in the southwest of Guji Town, near Quanhe in the south. The village is formed by the combination of the former huwan and huanggouji villages. It has jurisdiction over Hudong, Huxi, Hunan, Hubei and huanggouji five natural villages. The village has a population of 2875 and a cultivated area of 2592 mu. 9、
Li cuicun
Located in the southwest of Guji Town, it has jurisdiction over six natural villages, including Lidong, Lixi, Lizhong, Qianjia, Houjia and Baizhuang, with more than 2117 people, 560 households and 2368 mu of cultivated land.
History and culture
There are Wangzhuang ancient cultural sites in the territory, which are Neolithic sites. In 2012, it was listed as the first batch of cultural relics protection units in Fuyang City.
