Shiji Town

Shiji Town is located in the western suburb of Chuzhou City, bordering Langya Mountain scenic spot and Chuzhou Economic Development Zone in the East, Yaopu town and Quanjiao County in the south, Zhangguang town in the West and Zhulong town and Daliu town in the north.

The center of the town is 22 kilometers away from Chuzhou City. The town has 11 administrative villages (including one neighborhood committee) and 216 villager groups, with a land area of 235.2 square kilometers. Shiji township is known as the "famous tea town in eastern Anhui". 4. Chu Chrysanthemum

Chuju has been planted in our township for more than 600 years, with a planting area of 1000 mu, which is the largest in Chuzhou, especially in Yanli village and Bali village. Before 1997, the processing of Chrysanthemum in our township was mainly sulfur fumigation and sun drying, and the products of Chu chrysanthemum were mainly used for traditional Chinese medicine. After 1998, the local people learned from the processing experience of Huangshan Gongju, dried and dehydrated, and no longer used sulfur to kill the green. The dried Chu chrysanthemum kept its original shape, strong flavor and sweet taste. All the dried tea produced was sold to Shanghai, Hangzhou and other places as drinks Chu chrysanthemum production, considerable economic benefits, per mu income of more than 1500 yuan, development prospects are extremely broad.

5. Tourism

Shiji township is adjacent to Langya Mountain scenic spot in the East and Huangfu Mountain Nature Reserve in the west, 20 kilometers away from chucheng.
