Sencun township is located in the mountainous area of Southern Anhui, 29 ° 42 ′ - 29 ° 48 ′ n, 118 ° 26 ′ - 118 ° 32 ′ e, 20 km away from the city government and 32 km away from the county seat. Sencun township is located in the mountainous area of Southern Anhui Province. It is a picturesque rural landscape. Huangbei River and Xianyuan water gather in Sencun village. It is adjacent to Xiaochuan Township in the East, Changxin Township and Shaolian Township in the south, Shaolian Township and Wangcun Township in the west, Wangcun Township, Xiongcun Township and Kengkou Township in the north, with a total area of 70.94 square kilometers and five villages under its jurisdiction.

Sencun township government is located in Sencun. During the communization period in 1958, it was a management area of Wangcun commune. In 1961, it was set up to establish the people's commune of Sencun township. In May 1983, the system reform established the people's Government of Sencun township. In 1992, when the district was withdrawn and the township was merged, Huangbei township was incorporated.

Forest land area of Sencun township is 92196 mu, 39 kinds of plant resources are known, and the forest coverage rate is 75%. Timber forests mainly include pine, Cunninghamia lanceolata and Phyllostachys pubescens. Among them, Gaojing forest farm has an operating area of 8892 mu, an existing forest area of 8892 Mu and a mature forest area of about 6300 mu. The total industrial and agricultural output value of the township is 22.76 million yuan, and the per capita net income of farmers is 2246 yuan. The township has built five bases of sericulture, economic fruit forest, famous tea, high-quality rice and Gongju. In the whole year, 11960 pigs and 36565 poultry were raised. The total agricultural output value of the township is 24.5 million yuan. In 2005, the township strengthened the infrastructure construction. The projects under construction include: the hardening project of jingshao highway and Chayin highway with an investment of nearly 2 million yuan; the construction project of township judicial building; and the projects to be constructed include: the construction project of dormitory building of Sencun central school.
