Longkang farm

Longkang farm, founded in January 1958, is located in Huaiyuan County. 307 provincial road runs through the whole area. The southeast of the farm is 35km away from Huaiyuan County and 3km away from the right bank of Wohe River in the East. Bu (BEng) Fu (Yang) highway passes through the farm area. The transportation is convenient. Meanwhile, Longkang farm is a national modern agricultural demonstration zone for agricultural reclamation, a national agricultural product processing and entrepreneurship base, and the third batch of pilot towns for development and Reform in China Anhui modern agriculture demonstration area, Anhui modern agriculture and new rural research center, Anhui Academy of Agricultural Sciences Wanbei science and technology innovation center, Anhui civilized small town, Anhui ecological town.

History of construction

In 1949, Yandai Lake area had been reclaimed for more than 30 years. Due to frequent disasters and bandit harassment, most of the land in the area was abandoned. After the founding of new China in 1949, farmers around reclaimed a small amount of land, but because of poor soil, far away from villages, most of it was abandoned. There is a local folk song: "Yandai lake, windy soil, sand nest, rabbit does not pull urine, thatch does not grow.". In 1957, the CPC Anhui Provincial Committee decided to reclaim Yandai lake. In January 1958, the farm was officially established, and sun Jiayu was appointed by the provincial Party committee as the deputy director of the Preparatory Committee to preside over the work. From April to September, it successively received 78438 mu of land from 16 agricultural cooperatives in three townships of Heliu, Longkang and shangmiao in Huaiyuan County, and 14000 mu of land from four agricultural cooperatives in two townships of fumiao and Shuangjian in Mengcheng County, totaling more than 92000 mu. The farm was divided into six agricultural production teams, one horticultural team and one kiln; in the autumn of the same year, after the farm was transferred to Huaiyuan County, 14000 mu of land belonging to Mengcheng County was returned, and part of the land of Chuhan lake, an agricultural and forestry ranch in Huaiyuan County, was received. At the beginning of 1960, the farm was put under the management of the Provincial Department of agriculture. In May 1962, the farm established a branch in dakuangyu, Tianchang County, and reclaimed 35000 mu (dakuangyu branch went out independently in 1964); in August, the land of the former agricultural society was returned to the farm except for Chuwei brigade; in September, the farm was entrusted with 4681 mu of cultivated land and 1881 people from 16 production teams of two teams in Panwan and Chuwei, Huaiyuan County. By the end of this year, the farm had more than 40000 mu of land, including 32800 mu of arable land.

In November 1969, Longkang farm was changed into the 5th regiment of 2nd division of Anhui production and Construction Corps. In the second half of 1975, BINGTUAN was abolished and the farm system was restored. A five member leading group was set up. In 1976, the administrative leading body was gradually improved. In 1985, a family farm for workers was set up in an all-round way. In 1987, the field director responsibility system was implemented.

Farm size

Agricultural infrastructure and equipment were improved. There are 2 electric power irrigation and drainage stations, 7 secondary water pumping stations, 17 km anti-seepage irrigation canals, cement drying field, supporting storage facilities, and an agricultural airport. The farmland pattern of square farmland, network of forests, connection of canals and roads has been initially formed. The farm has more than 300 sets of large and medium-sized agricultural machinery, and the machinery operation rate is more than 95%. The prevention and control of crop diseases and insect pests in the afternoon realized the aircraft operation. There are one seed cleaning line and two drying lines with a storage capacity of 30 million kg. The farm has set up the Institute of Agricultural Sciences and the North Anhui Agricultural Science and technology innovation center in cooperation with Anhui Academy of Agricultural Sciences, with more than 40 middle and senior scientific and technological talents. The yield per unit area of wheat and rice in this farm is more than 20% higher than that in the surrounding rural areas. The average yield per mu of wheat is 550 kg, half of the area is more than 600 kg, and 15 million kg of high-quality seeds are provided to the society every year. Taking 37000 mu of arable land as the original seed base, the farm gradually developed 100000 mu of breeding base in surrounding villages and towns, driving more than 2 million mu of farmland to increase production and income.

The farm is the national contact point of the new socialist countryside. By striving for the support of national projects, it vigorously develops modern agriculture, and invests in the construction of modern agricultural demonstration park, ecological agricultural demonstration park, sightseeing park and organic agricultural products production and processing base. The first phase of 700 Mu demonstration base project has been launched and achieved remarkable results.

Farm varieties cover nearly 20 cities and counties in Anhui, Henan and Jiangsu. The farm and Provincial Academy of Agricultural Sciences undertook 2 National Wheat projects, 2 soybean projects and 4 rice projects.

In 2008, the total grain output was 28.501 million kg, and the total agricultural output value was 56.716 million yuan. Among them, the total yield of wheat was 16.21 million kg, with an average yield of 550 kg per unit area. The total yields of soybean, rice and corn were 3.029 million kg, 4.405 million kg and 743000 kg, with an average yield of 150 kg, 550 kg and 500 kg per unit area, respectively.

Rural development

Development of secondary and tertiary industries

Farm industry started in the mid-1980s. By the end of the ninth five year plan, a number of industrial enterprises focusing on agricultural products processing and building materials production had initially formed. At present, there are 15 resident enterprises, including Yanhu flour company, Tianhong food company, cement products factory, foundry, etc., with fixed assets of 100 million yuan and employment of 1200 people. Yanhu flour company is a provincial leading agricultural industrialization enterprise with four subsidiaries and a daily processing capacity of 700 tons of wheat. Through "order agriculture", "market purchase" and "two generation and one exchange", the company has established a "win-win" community of interests with the surrounding farmers, driving the agricultural production of 400000 mu of arable land and 100000 farmers.

In 2008, the development momentum of leading enterprises was good. Yanhu flour company has processed 77045 tons of wheat, 8731 tons of dried noodles and 380 tons of dehydrated vegetables, with sales revenue of 210 million yuan, industrial added value of 9.19 million yuan and profit of 840000 yuan.

Longkang Seed Industry Co., Ltd. sold 6.6 million kg of improved wheat varieties, 800000 kg of "Luhan No.1" rice varieties, and 30000 kg of newly developed meng9793 and suike 928 soybean varieties, with a sales revenue of 20.2 million yuan and a profit of 1.75 million yuan.

The infrastructure of the industrial park has been improved. The first phase supporting project of the park with an investment of 2.6 million yuan - trunk road, water supply and drainage pipe network and power supply and lighting facilities have been fully completed. The 10kV power supply facilities fully invested by the county power supply bureau with the support of the local government have been completed in the first phase.

Steady progress was made in attracting investment. The main project of ecological breeding farm with an investment of 15 million yuan has been basically completed, and fattening pigs are about to enter the market; the first phase project of new building materials factory with a total investment of 16 million yuan is about to be completed and put into production; the biodiesel project with an investment of 15 million yuan has been completed and put into trial production; the project start-up deposit of 8.6 million yuan for the luggage factory has arrived, and the land can enter the park for construction after "bidding, auction and listing". The completion of these projects is of great significance for the transfer of surplus labor force, the increase of tax sources, the promotion of land circulation and intensive management, the realization of enterprise efficiency and the increase of staff income.

Private economy has developed rapidly. Relying on the development of farms and towns, private enterprises have more prominent business characteristics and expanding business scope. By the end of 2008, there were 23 private enterprises in the town, with more than 2000 self-employed households, 4016 employees and 8.5 million yuan of profit tax.

Overview of urban development

The construction of farms and towns started at the beginning of the eighth five year plan. Over the past 10 years, we have invested 380 million yuan in urban planning and construction through diversified financing and rolling development. At present, the urban built-up area is 2.5 square kilometers. The hardening rate of urban roads is 100%, and all of them are equipped with street lamps. Supporting water supply and drainage facilities, environmental greening and beautification construction have achieved initial results. The popularization rate of telephone, television and tap water users has reached more than 95%, and broadband network has entered households. There are more than 4000 students in the school, including more than 85% of the children of farmers around. There is a 120 bed hospital in the town, with complete cultural and sports facilities and various life service facilities.

The annual trading volume of agricultural means of production market in the town reaches 100000 tons, and the annual trading volume of grain market reaches 500000 tons. It is the largest single grain and means of production market in rural towns of Anhui Province. There are more than 100 passenger and freight transport vehicles between the farm town and more than 10 surrounding villages and towns every day, with an average of 15000 people participating in market trade every day, with an average daily turnover of more than 2 million yuan. Farm towns have become the distribution centers of means of production and means of consumption within a radius of more than 900 square kilometers, as well as economic, cultural and information centers.

According to the requirements of farm town development, we invited Suzhou Institute of science and technology and Bengbu Design Institute to revise the original planning of the farm. After the revision, there are three residential areas in the eight agricultural farms. Through the planning, the staff can be guided to live in the local towns, which can save more than 2000 mu of land and improve the production and living environment of the agricultural staff. Through the revision of the urban planning, the farm town has been expanded from the original planning of 2.5 square kilometers to 7.5 square kilometers, forming a "one body, two wings, West Garden, East District, four vertical and four horizontal, green space" Urban planning and construction pattern of "surrounding".

We should open up diversified investment channels, improve infrastructure and public welfare facilities in accordance with the requirements of high starting point and high standards, build new farm residential areas, and expand and strengthen the means of production and grain market. In the past three years, we have raised nearly 50 million yuan from various channels for urban construction. The science and education road widening project, leisure square, science and technology office building, kindergarten and other projects have been completed. 11 new rural residential buildings with 286 units have been put into use, and nearly 500 new rural residential phase II and low rent housing projects are about to start.
