Qilizhan Street

Qilizhan street, under the jurisdiction of Yaohai District, Hefei City, Anhui Province, is located in the east of Yaohai District, Hefei City, Anhui Province, adjacent to Tongling Road Street, Daxing Town, Xinzhan Qilitang town and Feidong County. It covers an area of 3.5 square kilometers and has a permanent population of 48667 (2010). There are six communities in the area: Zizhuyuan, zhantang, Hengtong, Xueyuan, Dongqi and 20bu.

Qilizhan street has Hefei railway engineering school, Hefei preschool normal school, Hefei electronic school and other universities and technical secondary schools; it has Hengtong wholesale market, Yangtze River wholesale market, Caochong wholesale market and Yiwu small commodity wholesale market, which is an important commodity distribution center.

Evolution of organizational system

In 1956, the Dongpu reservoir was built in Hefei, and 540 of the 800 households were relocated. More than 2000 people were resettled at Qili station, covering an area of about 10 hectares. Most of the immigrants are resettled in Qili station, so Qili station is not "800 households". In that year, Qili station residents committee of Hefei Dongzhan district (changed to Dongshi District in June 1960, now Yaohai District) was established.

In 1965, due to the increase in the number of households and population, the residents committee of Qili station set up the Dangtu Road residents committee.

In March 1969, qilizhan Street Revolutionary Committee was established in the East urban area of Hefei City, which has jurisdiction over qilizhan and Dangtu Road residents committees.

In December 1969, qilizhan street was merged with Dongfanghong street, and its title was still qilizhan Street Revolutionary Committee in the East urban area of Hefei city. It has jurisdiction over Qili station, Dangtu Road and Dongfanghong neighborhood committee.

In 1969, it was set up from Tongling Road Street, and its jurisdiction is located in the east of Dongshi district.

In March 1970, the qilizhan Street Branch Committee of the eastern urban area of Hefei city was established.

On September 27, 1970, Liaoyuan Chemical Plant was set up in the east of Hefei City, with about 10 employees.

In the spring of 1971, private primary schools were first established in the streets. By 1976, there were 23 classrooms, 368 students in seven classes from grade one to grade four, and 13 teachers. All school-age children in the jurisdiction are enrolled in school.

On June 27, 1978, qilizhan private primary school belonged to the branch of Daqing Road No.5 primary school (now Bengbu road No.5 primary school) in the eastern city of Hefei.

In 1972, the Taoyuan Road residents committee of qilizhan street was established.

In the winter of 1972, more than 10 people were uniformly organized and transferred from the eastern urban area of Hefei city to form a working team of urban residents' class composition. In 1997, it covers an area of 3.5 square kilometers and has a population of 25000. It has jurisdiction over six neighborhood committees: Dongqi, Tushan, Dangtu, zhantang, Taoyuan road and nianbu.

On November 29, 2001, the neighborhood committee was integrated into six neighborhood committees: nianbu neighborhood committee, Hengtong neighborhood committee, Taoyuan neighborhood committee, zhantang neighborhood committee, Xueyuan neighborhood committee and Zizhuyuan neighborhood committee.

On March 1, 2002, the administrative division of Hefei city was adjusted and the district name was changed to qilizhan sub district office of Yaohai district.

On May 31, 2005, the neighborhood committee of dongqishe was divided into qilizhan street from Chengdong street.

In 2020, the six communities under the jurisdiction of qilizhan Street will be optimized and adjusted to four. Zizhuyuan community and nianbu community were abolished.
