Hongchou town

Hongchou town is located in the east of Tiantai County, adjacent to Sanmen County in the East, Linhai City in the south, Sanhe Town in the west, Yongxi Township in the north, 5km away from Yangtou exit of "shangsan" expressway, passing by 60 provincial roads. There are 21 administrative villages with 14158 people (2017), and the jurisdiction area is 37.58km2 (2017).

Historical evolution

Since the 10th year of Yongle in the Ming Dynasty (1412), it has been divided into one capital in Taiping, including Xiangjia, HUTANG and other two capitals in the southwest, which are called Dongxiang. It was called hongchou Township in 1950 and hongchou people's commune in 1958. In 1970, it was renamed hongqiu people's commune. In 1984, it was divided into ming'ao Township and hongchou township. It was approved as an established town in November 1988. In May 1992, hongchou and ming'ao were merged into hongchou town. Known as the "hometown of rubber", it was named Taizhou professional (rubber) trademark brand base and China (Tiantai) belt industrial city in 2005 and 2006 respectively. It is one of the important industrial towns in Tiantai county.

Hongchou town is a rubber product distribution center. Among more than 220 enterprises in the town, rubber and plastic products enterprises account for 80%; in the total industrial output value of the town, the output value of rubber and plastic products also accounts for more than 80%. It mainly produces rubber Triangle belt series, transport belt series, PVC belt series, handicraft and luxury car foot cushion, cushion and other car accessories series. The degree of industrial agglomeration has been continuously enhanced. Three industrial districts with a total area of more than 250 Mu have been developed, including the East Industrial Zone, the West Industrial Zone and the third industrial park. At present, 21 enterprises have entered the park and put into operation. The first phase of Hongsan park with a planning area of 3000 mu has completed the land acquisition of 200 mu, and six enterprises have been implemented.

We should conscientiously implement the policy of "increasing agricultural efficiency and farmers' income", strengthen the construction of agricultural infrastructure, implement agricultural industrialization, and promote the transfer of land contractual management rights. Tiantai county has established the first association of large grain growers, established production cooperatives, and established 2050 Mu pollution-free rice production base. There are 51 large grain growers with more than 20 mu, of which the largest one is 215 mu. We will vigorously develop eco-friendly agriculture, build a high mountain vegetable base and tenghong aquaculture base in Yin village of Dong'an, and actively develop bases for medicinal materials, red bayberry and pigs. We will guide farmers to develop high mountain vegetables, tea, flowers and seedlings, space pears and other economic crops, as well as cattle, Boer sheep and live pigs. In 2005, the per capita net income of farmers was 5359 yuan. With the improvement of agricultural infrastructure, the transformation of rural power grid has been completed in all villages of the town, and the village to village roads have been realized. Among them, 90% of the villages have achieved road hardening. With the completion of the last two road hardening tasks, the town will fully realize the road hardening of the village to village roads. We have applied for the implementation of the national agricultural comprehensive development project for the transformation of medium and low yield farmland in hongchou Town, Tiantai county. The total investment of the project is about 7 million yuan, with 5000 mu of farmland transformed and 5500 meters of cangshanxi and JieXi river basins treated. After the implementation of the project, the basic conditions of agriculture will be greatly improved, which will provide reliable water resources guarantee for the adjustment of agricultural industrial structure, the development of benefit agriculture and the realization of agricultural modernization. At the same time, the economic and ecological benefits will be significantly enhanced through the comprehensive measures of mountain, water, field, forest, road, science and technology.

Of the 21 administrative villages in the town, 5 have reached the standard of harmonious ecological village at the county level and passed the acceptance. Four villages have been included in the construction plan, among which donganyin village has passed the acceptance. In recent years, the whole town has invested more than 40 million yuan to harden 24 kilometers of village roads, 82000 square meters of village roads, 3750 new tap water households, 325 street lamps, 2496 open-air cesspits, 104 garbage cans, 16 public toilets, 88000 square meters of green area, 1000 square meters of cultural and entertainment places, and 10000 square meters of old houses 35000 square meters of new houses and 65000 square meters of "shirtless walls" have been eliminated. Some villages are stepping up the implementation of water improvement projects, and the total investment is expected to be more than 2 million yuan, exceeding the total investment in water improvement over the years.
