Wuning Street

Wuning street, located in the old Jiangnan District of Dongyang City, is the economic, cultural and commercial center of Dongyang City, Jinhua City, Zhejiang Province. It has 11 communities with a total area of 35 square kilometers. By the end of 2011, there were 34088 households with a permanent population of 89888. The sub district office was originally located at No. 11 Qingchun Road, Dongyang City, and moved to No. 1 Dongjie Street (the old municipal government) in 2019.

General situation

In October 2002, 34 neighborhood committees including Shuangxian were abolished and 9 new communities including Luzhai, Jiangbin, Dongjie, Xijie, Dongxian, Yinghui, Chaoyang, Chengnan and Xiyuan were established. In October 2004, 10 rural neighborhood committees including Dongfang were abolished and Hetang community and Xingping community were newly established. With convenient transportation and beautiful environment, Wuning street is a good place for home travel and investment. It is 18 km away from Yiwu Railway Station, 22 km away from the airport and 2 km away from Yongjin expressway. It is close to the mountain and river, with gentle terrain, beautiful environment and pleasant climate. Arranged in a crisscross pattern, the city's beautiful wind colors are covered with dense camphor, scent osmanthus, tall Wutong, rosy roses and flashing neon lights. Wu Ning set the essence of Dongyang's "educational Town, building town, arts and crafts town", with a gathering of talents and culture. In 2016, the administrative area was 31 square kilometers, covering 11 communities, including Luzhai, Jiangbin, Dongjie, Xijie, Dongxian, Yinghui, Chaoyang, Chengnan, Xiyuan, Hetang and Xingping, 31 economic cooperatives, and 65 residential areas. There are 32063 households with a total population of 85236, including 41773 males and 43463 females. The birth rate is 1.26%, the sex ratio at birth is 115 (100 females), and the natural population growth rate is 1.04 ‰. The office is located at 11 Qingchun Road. 509 million yuan of taxes were collected. The per capita disposable income of urban residents is 44542 yuan, and the per capita net income of rural residents is 24556 yuan.

On April 8, 2019, Wuning sub district office moved from Qingchun Road to No. 1 East Street (former Dongyang municipal government).

Community management

Adhere to the promotion of urban grassroots harmony as the foothold, pay attention to people's livelihood, solve problems, consolidate grassroots, and strive to build a harmonious community. First, strengthen community management and build a community service system for the people. Increase community funding, rationalize the management system, and strive to solve the bottleneck problem of restricting community development. We should establish Party member service centers in the streets and community service centers in the communities, comprehensively implement "one-stop" service, and form a service network in which the "two centers" interact and promote each other. The communities also take the opportunity of learning and practice activities to carry out various service activities such as volunteer assistance. Second, we should pay attention to benefiting the people, serving the people's livelihood and doing practical things. 22 livelihood projects, including the transformation of vegetable market and the technical transformation and expansion of landfill, have been launched, and 15 of them have been completed. At the same time, combined with the "double service" activities of the provincial Party committee, the "enterprise assistance action" was specially deployed, and the activity of "10 team members, 100 government cadres, and 1000 community party members to help enterprises" was carried out. A total of 252 enterprises were visited, and 46 problems such as land and capital were solved. Third, the implementation of the "three governance and one excellence" special action to ensure community harmony and stability. We will carry out the "three governance and one excellence" special action with the main content of "rectifying disordered spots of public security, unhealthy tendencies, evil forces, and optimizing the development environment". Tourism and cultural facilities are complete. There are many star hotels and professional markets. Luzhai Suyong hall, a national key cultural relic protection unit with the reputation of "the Forbidden City in the north and Suyong in the South", attracts many tourists at home and abroad.
