Datang street is located in the southwest of Zhuji City, Zhejiang Province. Because of abundant socks, it is known as the hometown of Chinese socks industry.

In 1988, Chengshan and Zhushan were merged into datang'an town. In 1992, Guanshan township was merged and renamed Datang town. In 2019, Caota town will be merged and renamed Datang street. Yuancaota town is one of the three ancient towns in Zhuji City. Caota town was established in 1950. It was abolished in 1958 and belonged to Dongfeng commune. Caota commune was established in 1961 and rebuilt in 1981. In 2001, Qingshan township was abolished and merged into Caota town. The original Qingshan township was Qingshan Township in 1956, Dongfeng commune in 1958, Qingshan commune in 1961, and township in 1983. In June 2019, Datang town and Caota town will be abolished and Datang Street will be merged. The area is 138 square kilometers, the registered residence population is 76 thousand and 600, and 7 communities, 1 residential areas and 28 administrative villages are administered. The sub district office is located at 75 Kaiyuan East Road.

Datang street, located in the southwest of Zhuji City, Zhejiang Province, was formed by merging Datang town and Caota town in June 2019. It is adjacent to Taozhu street, Jiyang street, Jinan street and Paitou town in the East, Tongshan town in the south, Wuxie town in the west, Zhongyu Township in Pujiang County of Jinhua City, and YINGDIAN Street Town in the north. The area is 138 square kilometers, the registered residence population is 76 thousand and 600, and 7 communities, 1 residential areas and 28 administrative villages are administered. The sub district office is located at 75 Kaiyuan East Road.
