LindaI town
LindaI Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Pinghu City, Jiaxing City, Zhejiang Province, is located in the south of Pinghu City. It is adjacent to Jiaxing Port Area in the south, Dushan Port in the East and Pinghu main urban area in the north. Shanghai, Hangzhou, Suzhou and Ningbo are all within the 1.5-hour traffic circle. The total area of the town is 46.23 square kilometers (2017), with a total population of 35184 (2017).
Historical evolution
Zhuangqiaofen and Liangzhu Cultural Sites prove that more than 4500 years ago, ancestors had been farming and living on the ancient land of LindaI town.
In the Ming Dynasty, the member of the Ministry of punishment, wailang Linfeng, and the officer, Lin Rijin, lived here and became a town, hence the name of linjiadai. The Ming and Qing Dynasties belonged to Qijing township. Qingxi township was built in the 19th year of the Republic of China and changed to XuXi Township in the 36th year of the Republic of China. It was liberated in May 1949, and its jurisdiction consisted of most of LindaI Township and Hongni Township, and a part of ferry township. It was merged into LindaI Township when the district was withdrawn and merged in 1956. In October 1958, Xudai Township, Jianshe Township and LindaI Township jointly established Xudai people's commune; in 1961, the system was adjusted and the commune was still established according to the scale of the original township, named LindaI people's commune; in September 1983, when the government and the commune were set up separately, it was built as LindaI township; in June 1985, the township was withdrawn to build a town. The original Xudai town was in Yuan Dynasty, where Xuli lived in buzhaidai of Nanzhou, so it became a market, which was called xujiadai in Ming Dynasty. At the beginning of the Ming Dynasty, there was a tax bureau of Danghu, Xudai and zuanjie. Xuande five years to the Qing Dynasty is Qijing township. During the period of the Republic of China, it was xuhao Township and XuXi township. During the Anti Japanese War, it once became the activity center of Haibei trade union. After liberation, Xudai and Xiangwei townships were built; in March 1956, they were merged into Xudai townships; in October 1958, Xudai people's commune was built together with LindaI and Jianshe three townships; in 1961, Xudai people's commune was still built according to the original township scale; in 1983, the township system was restored; in June 1985, the township was withdrawn to build a town; in July 1999, the administrative region of Pinghu City was adjusted, and Xudai town and LindaI town were merged into LindaI town.
Linjiadai, the government's residence, is 9.7 km away from the urban area, with a total area of 48.5 square kilometers, including 46601 mu of cultivated land and 6878 mu of water area.

LindaI area is a plain water network area, which is the southeast edge of Pinghu ancient agriculture. The ground elevation is 2.7 meters. The soil matrixes are different from old to new, and the sources are different. Generally, the boundary is from LindaI to Hongni highway. In the south, the texture is loose, and the sediment is mainly shallow sea, which belongs to silt soil. In the north, the clay content of heavy loam is higher, which mainly belongs to green silt soil and green purple soil. Xudai originally belongs to the ancient xiehu area. The soil is of fluvial and lacustrine facies with uniform texture. Most of it is heavy loam with a ground elevation of 2.5m. The main rivers, such as huanggutang, dushantang, zhaputang and guangchentang, flow through the town, making irrigation convenient.
Climatic characteristics
LindaI town is a subtropical monsoon area, with mild and humid climate, abundant rainfall, four distinct seasons and sufficient sunshine. The annual average temperature is 15.7 ℃, the annual rainfall is 1157.5 mm, and the average sunshine is 2057 hours.
economic development
In 2014, the total output value of industry and agriculture of the whole town was 3.692 billion yuan, with a year-on-year growth of 9.5%; the total output value was 1.7596 billion yuan, with a comparable growth of 13.5%. The total revenue of public finance was 368.95 million yuan, of which the local public budget revenue was 131.07 million yuan, an increase of 53.7% and 46.7% respectively. The per capita net income of farmers was 22450 yuan, a year-on-year increase of 9%.
Transportation
The town has convenient water and land transportation. Pinglang highway, 01 Provincial Road (East West Avenue), Hangpu expressway, zhaputang and huanggutang pass through the town. On the double track of provincial highway 01, Hangpu Expressway (under construction) passes through the town. Zhaputang, dushantang and huanggutang cross the town in the shape of "Sichuan".
