Yuqian town

Yuqian town is located in the middle of Lin'an District, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province. It is located in the middle of Tianmu River Basin. It is adjacent to Shaolu Township and Henglu Township in the north, Taiyang town in the west, Yankou Township in the South and Zaoxi town in the East. It is one of the two sub central cities in Lin'an District of Hangzhou City, and it is also the bridgehead of industry, transportation and tourism in Lin'an district.

As of 2017, Yuqian town has 30 villages and 1 neighborhood committee with a total land area of 261.2 square kilometers and a permanent resident population of 49051. It has won the honorary titles of Hangzhou Municipal Health Town, Zhejiang Education strong town, Zhejiang ecological town, Zhejiang environment beautiful town, Zhejiang sports strong town, and national comprehensive strength thousand strong town.

Evolution of organizational system

Yuqian town was originally the seat of Yuqian County, the hometown of "farming and weaving". The town was named after the former Yuqian county government. In the second year of Yuanfeng reign of Emperor Wu of Han Dynasty (109 BC), the county was established. In 1935, Qianyang town was established as a government.

After liberation, Chengguan town was renamed Yuqian town in 1956.

It was incorporated into Qianyang commune in October 1960.

Yuqian town was rebuilt in 1973.

In December 1984, Qianyang township was merged into Yuqian Town, implementing the system of town governing village.

In May 1992, Fangyuan Township and Lingkou Township were merged into Yuqian town.

Yuqian town is located at the south foot of West Tianmu Mountain, a famous National Nature Reserve, in the mountainous area of Western Zhejiang, the center of Lin'an District of Hangzhou city. It is adjacent to Shaolu Township and Henglu Township in the north, Taiyang town in the west, Yankou Township in the South and Zaoxi town in the East. Hang Hui highway runs through the East and West, Ning Fen highway runs through the north and south, and the two highways meet at zhenguotou in the south of the city.

Yuqian town has about 27000 mu of cultivated land and 210000 mu of mountain forest. It is rich in bamboo shoot development resources. At present, there are 50000 mu of bamboo shoots, including 12630 mu of high-yield and high-efficiency Lei bamboo garden. The whole town has been producing 13770 tons of fresh bamboo shoots annually, with an output value of 87.81 million yuan. The output value of other vegetable bamboo and dried bamboo shoots is more than 6 million yuan, and the output value of bamboo shoots is nearly 100 million yuan. There are more than 20 Leizhu professional villages in the town, with an annual bamboo shoot income of more than 10000 yuan and more than 1500 households, and a single annual per capita income of about 1500 yuan, which has become the main agricultural industry and income source of farmers in Yuqian town.

The development of Leizhu production in Yuqian town began in the early 1990s. By the end of 1990s, the planting area had a little scale, and most of them were planted in a large area after the 21st century. Therefore, the coverage area of Yuqian town increased year by year, and the production area expanded year by year.

It covers 5630 mu in 2005, 6700 mu in 2006 and 8100 mu in 2007, with a coverage rate of 64%. In addition, the land of Leizhu garden is fertile, the management is fine, the degradation of bamboo forest is slow, and the yield is increasing.

In addition, more than 6000 mu of Leizhu in Shaolu, Fangyuan and Qianyang have just entered the production period, and more than 70% of Leizhu gardens have not been covered, which has great potential for production. Leizhu will still be the pillar agricultural industry of the whole town in the next few years.

Yuqian Town, under the guidance and help of the Forestry Institute of the Municipal Forestry Bureau, vigorously promoted the "autumn mulching technology of Phyllostachys praecox". The demonstration base of "Lei bamboo autumn shoot production demonstration base" in Guanxin village has been established. Through the implementation of autumn shoot production technologies such as "early cultivation and management, early fertilization and early covering", good results have been achieved. The whole town covers 2112 mu of leizhuyuan. According to statistics, it produces 2765 tons of autumn bamboo shoots with an output value of 23.23 million yuan. It has an average yield of 8.4 yuan per kilogram and an average output value of 11000 yuan per mu. With the support of the town government, Houzhu village has built a 20 mu fresh bamboo shoot trading market, which has gathered 115 large bamboo shoot resellers and markets in the city to sell fresh bamboo shoots in Yuqian town. The market sells 46000 tons of fresh bamboo shoots annually, with a sales volume of 160 million yuan, which effectively guarantees the market competitiveness and stability of Yuqian bamboo shoots, thus ensuring the interests of the majority of bamboo farmers.

In 2007, Yuqian town achieved an industrial sales output value of 2.407 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 20.2%, and realized 50.46 million yuan of state land tax, the first breakthrough of 50 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 21%.

Now it has entered the stage of land acquisition and fund raising, and strive to start construction as soon as possible and complete the main project construction as soon as possible. At the same time, the waste landfill was reformed. Yuqian landfill is located in jiangjunwu, Xiabu village, near the farmland. In order to separate the landfill sewage from the farmland water, the sewage drainage ditch of the landfill has been specially excavated to completely separate it from the farmland irrigation, so as to ensure the agricultural production. With the increase of urban population and the development of private enterprises, the government has begun to plan the expansion and reconstruction or relocation of landfill.

Taking full account of the current situation of economic, social and cultural development of the town, combined with geographical advantages and development potential, it is divided into five functional areas.

The first is the ecological residential area in the north of the city, which uses the triangle formed by the "V" shaped Tianmu River to build public leisure green space along the river, and develop ecological houses around it, and share some functions of business, transportation, tourism and so on.

The second is the tourism area in the west of the city, which takes the excavation of historical and cultural accumulation as the main line, supporting the urban tourism service function.

The fifth is Chengnan Industrial Park, which is located in the south of "02" provincial road, the west of Tianmu South Road and the east of Tianmu river.
