Bufeng town

Historical evolution

In June 1948, after Cheng Bufeng died, Wuyou District of Yandong county was changed into Bufeng district.

In November 1949, Yandong county was merged into Sheyang County as Bufeng District of Sheyang County.

In September 1954, Bufeng district was assigned to Yancheng county.

In September 1983, Bufeng Township, a suburb of Yancheng City, was established.
