In 1949, it belonged to six districts of leting County; in 1984, it was changed into pangezhuang township; in 1996, Qingtuo township was incorporated into the county. As of June 2020, Panggezhuang township has jurisdiction over 22 administrative villages, and the Township People's government is stationed in Panggezhuang village.
