DAZONGHU town

DAZONGHU town is located in the southwest of Yancheng City. It was established by merging the former DAZONGHU town and the former Yifeng town. The new town covers an area of 93.03 square kilometers (in 2017). It governs 1 community, 1 Street, 6 neighborhood committees and 20 villages, with a total population of 44300 people (in 2017). It is a national key town and one of the key central towns in Jiangsu Province.

In July 2020, the National Patriotic Health Campaign Committee reconfirmed DAZONGHU town as a national health township.

General situation

DAZONGHU town belongs to Yandu District, Yancheng City, Jiangsu Province. It is located in the southwest of Yancheng City, 37 kilometers away from the city. It is named after the proximity of DAZONGHU lake. It is adjacent to Qinnan town and Shangzhuang town in the East, Shagou and Zhongbao town in Xinghua City in the West and south, Xuefu town and Louwang town in the north. Originally, Shizhuang neighborhood committee of Yifeng town was the seat of the town government.

In August 2010, the provincial government approved the approval on adjusting some administrative divisions of Yandu District in Yancheng City, and agreed to cancel Yifeng town and DAZONGHU town of Yandu District, merge the areas under the jurisdiction of the former two towns, and establish a new DAZONGHU town. The town government is stationed at 103 Renmin Middle Road, yifengji town.

The town covers a total area of 93.03 square kilometers (in 2017), which governs 1 community, 1 Street, 6 neighborhood committees and 20 villages, with a total population of 44300 people (in 2017).

Transportation and logistics

DAZONGHU town is located in the western suburb of Yancheng, the "land of fish and rice and the world wetland tourism city". Yanjin national defense highway, Buhu highway and 231 provincial highway cross the town. It is about 50 km away from Yancheng Nanyang Airport and Xinchang railway in the East, 20 km away from the nearest exit of Ningjing Yancheng Expressway and YanXu expressway. Yanning first-class highway is less than 10 km away from the town. The traffic is very convenient, and the west is the main road Dazong Lake with beautiful scenery and rich products.

Urban construction

Adhering to the guidance of planning and promoting industrialization, market towns started to implement Fumin road and Zhenxing road projects on the basis of the original framework. Fumin Road, Zhenxing Road, 231 provincial road and Pengcheng road have all been opened up.

The image of the town has taken on a new look. It continues to maintain high investment in the construction of the market town. The building volume exceeds 40000 square meters. More than 500 commercial houses have been built. More than 1500 meters of revetments have been built. More than 100 street lamps have been newly installed. The Chaoyang river has been renovated effectively. Jianfeng West Road (bridge) and Jiankang Road (bridge) have been completely renovated and newly built. DAZONGHU junior high school has completed a 1430 square meter comprehensive building, and the comprehensive office building of land, postal branch and credit cooperatives has been successfully completed. The 30 mu DAZONGHU ecological leisure park is under active planning, and the living environment is becoming more and more pleasant. The per capita net income of farmers is 6720 yuan, with an increase rate exceeding the average level of the whole region. More than 20 kilometers of Village Road, 2 double pump drainage stations, 10 flood gates and more than 100 agricultural bridges have been built; education, culture and health undertakings have been booming; the party's construction has been further strengthened, and leading groups at all levels have been united and upward, forming a good development situation of political communication and people's harmony.

The town has the only three-star hotel in Yandu District.

In recent years, DAZONGHU town adheres to the strategy of revitalizing the town by industry, and forms a new type of relationship between industry and agriculture and urban-rural integration, in which industry promotes agriculture, city leads countryside, industry and agriculture benefit each other. It has won the titles of "China chemical fiber machinery (auxiliary machinery) industrial base", "China coating equipment industrial base", "characteristic industrial cluster of Jiangsu Province", "innovative pilot town of Jiangsu Province" and many other national and provincial prefix titles, realizing the fission development of characteristic industries. The industrial zone has initially formed a pattern of "one zone and two parks". In 2012, the invoice sales of large-scale industries reached 820 million yuan, with a year-on-year increase of 15%. The industrial economy showed a favorable situation of rising against the trend. The town did not meet the existing achievements, but seek ideas and measures, seize the time for rapid development, grasp the construction to seek a breakthrough, work hard at the present, and strive to "double more than half".

The town strives to enhance the carrying capacity of the park. Strengthen road network construction. More than 10 million yuan has been invested in the construction of Fumin Road, Longde Road, Jingyi road and the extension and reconstruction of Zhenxing road. The completed projects have been put into operation quickly, with an investment of 200 million yuan in Cambridge phase II, 150 million yuan in Changhua phase II, and 100 million yuan in self strengthening chemical fiber machinery, new reinforced fiber, TALIDA machinery, and Barry Howe machinery. The town focuses on improving the ability of scientific and technological innovation. In 2012, the provincial R & D center of Cambridge painting with an investment of more than 10 million yuan was put into use. Cambridge painting company was recognized as a national high-tech enterprise. Shentai company was established as a post doctoral innovation and practice base in Jiangsu Province, and Kangjie machinery strives to become a provincial demonstration enterprise of "integration of industrialization and industrialization". At present, it has won 2 titles of national high-tech enterprises, 4 provincial engineering technology research centers, 15 provincial high-tech products, applied for 280 patents, including 59 invention patents, and strived for 7 million yuan of special funds for science and technology projects. In 2013, based on the construction of provincial post doctoral workstations in Cambridge and Shentai, the town plans to strive to create national post doctoral workstations, foreign expert workstations and academician workstations, create 5 national and provincial high-tech enterprises, 3 provincial engineering technology research centers, and build provincial coating equipment testing center in Cambridge.

The town has also ranked first among all the towns in Yancheng City in terms of self operated export volume for many years in a row.

DAZONGHU town adheres to the development of characteristic agriculture as the center, constantly increases the adjustment of agricultural industrial structure, and strives to develop modern and efficient agriculture, so as to form "one village, one product" and promote farmers to increase their income and become rich.

Xinghu neighborhood committee of DAZONGHU town is a traditional professional village of rice field breeding. While doing a good job in traditional aquaculture, the neighborhood committee, based on its own geographical resources, actively demonstrated and promoted the new rice field aquaculture mode of lobster and crab polyculture, with a net income of more than 3000 yuan per mu, which effectively promoted agricultural efficiency and farmers' income.

Zhenxing village gives full play to the advantages of large land area, and actively attracts efficient facilities agricultural projects. A 1000 mu facility agriculture project agreement was signed with Runhe Investment Co., Ltd., and the land transfer work was all in place. Meanwhile, based on the reality of low-lying and fertile soil, the village expanded 1000 mu lotus planting area in 2009, further highlighting the scale effect.

Xingsheng village strives for a breakthrough in the characteristic planting industry, vigorously develops the forest grass chicken breeding and chrysanthemum planting, drives the whole village farmers, and embarks on the road of developing efficient agriculture with characteristic planting.

In order to fully mobilize the enthusiasm of the cadres and masses to adjust the agricultural industrial structure and planting and breeding mode, DAZONGHU town has introduced a series of preferential and incentive policies to help farmers develop characteristic agricultural projects to solve the problems of capital, technology and market. The town has set up an efficient fishery technology guidance service center, which regularly organizes personnel to go deep into the field and the pond mouth to guide farmers from the aspects of production and operation before, during and after production, so as to ensure that farmers can obtain real economic benefits.

The high-efficiency cultivation area of the town has accounted for more than 70% of the total cultivation area of the town, and the high-efficiency cultivation area accounts for more than 30% of the total cultivation area of the town.
