Idioms and allusions
Version 1: the old novels often cite the allusion of "Liu Xiahui sitting in his arms" to praise the virtues of men. It is said that on a cold night, Liu Xiahui stayed at the gate of the city and met a homeless woman. For fear that she would freeze to death, Liu Xiahui asked her to sit in her arms, untied her coat, wrapped her tightly, and sat with her all night without any indecent behavior. Therefore, Liu Xiahui is known as a "upright man who does not act disorderly". There is also a legend that one summer, zhanhuo went out to visit his friends. When it rained heavily on his way, he went straight to the ancient temple in the suburbs to take shelter. But as soon as he stepped into the threshold, he saw a naked woman twisting her clothes inside. Zhanhuo hurried out, stood under the ancient locust tree and let it rain. The women in the temple found themselves hiding behind the door, busy with wet clothes. This story is well-known, so it has a good reputation of "Liu Xiahui is not in chaos".
