In the third year of seclusion of Zuo Zhuan, it is said that "Jun Yi, Chen Xing, Fu Ci, Zi Xiao, Xiong AI and di Jing are the so-called six obediences." Zhu Xi's Zhu Zi Yu Lei (Volume 16) in Song Dynasty: "it is necessary to elaborate on the benevolence and respect of the monarch and his ministers, filial piety and benevolence of the son and father, and the letter of the Chinese people, and each of them has its own reason."
