Run away
As a Chinese idiom, Pinyin is Z á op ī é Rd ù n, which means to live in seclusion without being an official. From Huainanzi, Volume 11, Qi folk precepts.
The origin of Idioms
In volume 11 of Huainanzi, the common precepts of Qi, Duke Huan of Qi used to ride with the princes and retreat to the state with axes and axes; Duke Wen of Jin used to ride with the princes and retreat to the state with rites and righteousness. The Duke of Huan was soft before he was strong, and the Duke of Wen was hard before he was soft. However, those who were in power all over the world were judged by the change of power. Yan He, the king of Lu, wanted to meet him, but he refused to. He made people use money first and then evade him, showing their martial arts for the world. If you meet Shang Yang, Shen Buhai, and punish the three clans, what's the matter with you? Most of the people in the world are called ancient people and their deeds are highly valued. There are people with the same characteristics in the world, and they know that they are valuable. They are not only talented but also suitable. In the past, the literary chariots used by Duke Huan of Qi to unite with the princes returned to China to consolidate the regime by force; the military chariots used by Duke Wen of Jin to unite with the princes returned to China to govern the country by courtesy. The Duke Huan of Qi was soft first and then hard, while the Duke Wen of Jin was hard first and then soft, but they were able to command the world and control the princes because they were able to judge the situation and adapt to circumstances. In addition, Yan He, a hermit in the state of Lu, wanted to use him as his prime minister, but Yan he didn't want to. Lu Jun gave him a heavy gift to make him change his mind. However, Yan He chiseled through the back wall of the house and escaped, becoming a famous figure in the world. Lu Jun did not pursue his disobedience. If Yan he met such legalist figures as Shang Yang and Shen Buhui, he would be punished for killing the three ethnic groups, not to mention Yan he himself! The world praises the ancient sages and praises them for their virtues, but they don't know how to love and admire them. It's not that the modern sages are inferior to the ancient sages, but that their talents and virtues are out of date.
