Publishing background
1. The earliest known edition is the song edition. Hong mai (1123-1202) said that it belonged to the Qingli period (1041-1048). Mao Jin (1599-1659) thought that he had the copy of this edition, and he copied it in the Jinzhuo secretary. Among the editions of Ming Dynasty, Shen Bian's Edition reprinted by Si Bu Cong Kan originated from Yuan Edition (preface by Qian Wei in 1355). 2. The annotated edition was published separately by Zhao Huaiyu (1747-1823) in his yiyoushengzhai (preface in 1790, reprinted by Longxi jingshe Series), and was reprinted by Zhou tinglai as the collation and annotation of Han Shi waizhuan (reprinted in Anhui Series). The preface is labeled as 1791. The second edition is a more conservative one, which was used as the base of the combined edition of the two editions and was published by Wu Tang in 1875 (Wang San Yi Zhai, reprinted by Ji Fu series, reprinted and punctuated by series integration, see also the typeset edition of Shanghai Commercial Press in 1917). A version of Han Shi Wai Zhuan Shuzheng (see wenyuanlou Series) was published by Chen Shike in 1818. 3. Other series with Han Shi waizhuan include Han Wei series. Guanghan Wei series, 33 series, etc. Han Shi waizhuan Ji Shi (1905-1951), Beijing: Zhonghua Book Company, 1980 edition. The book was published after his death, with traditional Chinese characters, punctuation and notes, some of which are rare materials and Xu's own opinions. 5. Lai Yanyuan's Han Shi waizhuan Jin Zhu Jin Yi, which is annotated, punctuated and translated into modern Chinese, Taipei: Commercial Press, 1972.
