Yangguanda Road, Chinese idiom, Pinyin y á nggu à nd à D à o. Originally, it refers to the road leading to the western regions through Yangguan in ancient times. Later, it generally refers to the road through convenient transportation and bright road. It also refers to a good way out and method, also known as "Yangguan road". Yangguan is in the southwest of Dunhuang, Gansu Province. It comes from Wang Wei's sending Liu Si to Anxi.
The origin of Idioms
Wang Wei of the Tang Dynasty wrote a poem "send Liu Si to Anxi" which said: "the most important place is yangguandao, husha and saichen."
Idiom usage
(1) They have leapt over the terrible historical road of class division and embarked on the socialist road. (Qin Mu's shadow of primitive commune); (2) Qin Mu's Yihai picking up shells, poisons and medicines: "it's a dangerous thing for some people, but it can be a great road for some people." It is also called "yangguandao". Guo Xiaochuan's Yangko (3): "you once broke through ice and snow and opened up Yangguan road."
