Carrying the young and supporting the old, a Chinese idiom, Pinyin is Xi é y ò UF ú L ǎ o, which means helping the old and leading the children. The same as "supporting the old and carrying the young". It comes from the biography of Yan Zhuzhuan in the history of Han Dynasty.
