Evolution of CI Pai
The tune of "Shui Diao Ge tou" comes from "Shui Diao". Shuidiao was composed by Emperor Yang of Sui Dynasty. Liu Fan of Tang Dynasty said in the Jiahua of Sui and Tang Dynasties: "Yang Di chiseled Bianhe River and made his own shuidiaoge." He Shuo also said: "shuidiao and hezhuan were self-made by Emperor Yang when he was lucky to be the capital of the Yangtze River. Wang Lingyan, the musician, said to his disciples, "never come back, but shuidiao and hezhuan have gone." (Volume 4 of bijimanzhi) Du Mu's poem "who sings shuidiao" in Yangzhou also says: "Yangdi chiseled Bianhe River and made shuidiao by himself." (Volume 3 of notes to Fan Chuan's poetry anthology) although there are different opinions about whether shuidiao was made before kaibian river or after kaibian river was built, it is no different that shuidiao was made by Emperor Yang. in the Tang Dynasty, shuidiao became a popular song. Wang Changling of the prosperous Tang Dynasty wrote the poem "listen to the water melody of the flowing people": "the color of the mountains is thousands of times heavy, and the broken strings are closed and the tears are deep." Xu Hezi, a musician of Xuanzong Dynasty, was elected to the palace at the end of Kaiyuan Dynasty and was renamed Yongxin. After an Shi rebellion, he fled to Yangzhou and "played" shuidiao "in the boat. When general Wei Qing of Jinwu heard it, he knew it was" Yongxin song "(Duan an Jie's" Yuefu zalu · song "). It can be seen how familiar shuidiao was at that time. Xuanzong himself also liked to listen to this song. Before he fled to the middle of Sichuan, he went upstairs to buy wine, and made those who were good at singing "shuidiao" go upstairs to sing, "smell it, and shed tears" (Li Deyu's old news about the second Liu family). See also "the second sense of things" and "miscellaneous records of the Ming emperor". In the middle Tang Dynasty, Bai Juyi wrote a poem "listen to the water melody": "I can't translate the meaning of the melody at that time. Who is this heartbreak?" In the late Tang Dynasty, Luo Yin also wrote "Xi Shang Ge Shui Diao": "if the soul of emperor Yang is there, you should cross the river." Until the Five Dynasties and Northern Song Dynasty, shuidiao was still sung. Zheng Wenbao's "old stories of the Southern Tang Dynasty" recorded that Yuanzong "tasted and drunk, and ordered musician Yang Huafei to play" shuidiao Ci "for drinking". Feng Yansi's "throwing ball music" also has the sentence "water tune sound long drunk in listening". Zhang Xian's "Tian Xian Zi" in the Northern Song Dynasty is more familiar with "water tune, several sounds, holding wine and listening". At the same time as Zhang Xian but later, Liu Chang's gongshiji contains the poem "Yangzhou Wenge": "Huainan used to be in Zha dance, Sui custom is now in shuidiao sound." A piece of music can be sung for four or five hundred years, and its charm is not hard to imagine. In Tang Dynasty, shuidiao can be divided into Daqu and Xiaoqu. Daqu "shuidiao" song, "where eleven fold, the first five fold for song, after six fold for break. Its song, the fifth stack of five character tune, rhyme resentment cut. Therefore, Bai Juyi said in his poem: "five words are the most attentive, and there seems to be a reason for less emotion. I don't know how to turn the tune at that time. Who's this broken heart? " According to the eleven stacks of shuidiao in Yuefu Poetry Anthology, the first to fourth stacks (Times) of songs are seven characters, the fifth stack is five characters; the first to fifth stacks are seven characters, and the sixth stack is five characters. The ditty of shuidiao is a single song (refer to Volume 13 of Tang Shengshi, Part 2 of Ren Bantang). Water tune, which Wang Changling heard, is a ditty. At that time, shuidiao was mainly played by flutes. The second song of shuidiao in Tang Daqu said that "flutes rely on the new to turn shuidiao songs". In caisangzi in Southern Tang Dynasty, Feng Yansi also said, "who plays flutes in shuidiao?" "in Tang Dynasty, there are new shuidiao and ShangDiao" (volume 79 of Yuefu Poetry Collection). The fourth volume of bijimanzhi also says that Bai Juyi's poem "watching Cailing" says that "when singing a new tune of shuidiao, it is Cailing's song to abuse humanity", which refers to "the new tune in shuidiao". the Tang Dynasty's shuidiao also refers to the tonal name, which is the general name of a piece of music (not the proper name of a song). In Volume 33 of "Tang Hui Yao", it refers to the tone. The fourth volume of song Yuzhuo's bijimanzhi says: "the song of shuidiao: the song of Tang dynasty recorded in the gist of Li Dao, the song of nangongshang, was named shuidiao. Yu Shu saw that there were different opinions about shuidiao in Tang Dynasty. Yu doubted that shuidiao was not the name of the tune, but the different name of the popular tone. Now it's decided According to Zhu Ji, a foreign history, Wang Yan made his own yinhanqu in shuidiao This "water tune" in the system of "yinhanqu" also. Yinhanqu, which was made by Wang Yan, belongs to the music part of shuidiao, so yinhanqu was preceded by shuidiao. According to this, the third volume of Mao Xianshu's "explanation of the names of Ci Poems" also says: "the name of shuidiao is a piece of music; the name of shuidiao is a piece of music." "Song head of water melody" is based on the first chapter of Daqu "water melody" and new sound. It is said in the explanation of the lyrics: "the head of the song is also the beginning of the song, such as" the head of the song in Liuzhou "and" the first in Dizhou ". "Hai Lu Sui Shi" says: "the Yangdi kaibian River, self-made" water tune ", the song is quite many, called" Song head ", one of the first chapter of the explanation. Gu Congjing's Shi Yu Jian Shi says: "when the Ming emperor wanted to be lucky in Shu, he still listened to shuidiao, until" only geese fly in autumn every year. "Because of his tears, he sighed that Qiao was a real talent! It doesn't wait for the end of the song. " Water tune is quite wide, because the song stops the first solution, so it is called "Song head". Or Yunnan Tang Yuanzong pay attention to the inner favor, attack without empty day. Yang Huafei, a musician, played the Ci of shuidiao, but when he sang "the emperor of the Southern Dynasties loves romantic style", he thought it ironic. It is widely used as a word by later generations. With its first sentence, it is called "the head of water melody." "Shuidiao Getou" is different from the palace tune of "shuidiao" in Tang Dynasty. Shuidiao in Tang Dynasty belongs to ShangDiao, while zhonglvdiao in Song Dynasty (Volume 4 of bijimanzhi). Therefore, it is said in Volume 23 of the book of songs that "every Daqu's song head depends on a new sound." There are different synonyms for the tune "Shui Diao Ge tou". The names of Mao Pang's Ci poems are yuanhuiqu, Zhang Ju's Ci poems are Kaige, Wu Wenying's Ci poems are Jiangnan Hao, he Zhu's Ci poems are Taicheng you, Wang Xiangru's Ci poems are shuidiaoge, Jiang Kui's Ci poems are huaniannu, and Ming Yang Shen's Ci poems are Huajin.
