As a Chinese idiom, Pinyin is sh ì w é IK ò uch ó u, which means extreme hatred. It's from Mencius, under the leaves.
The idiom comes from "Mencius · lilouxia": "if the king looks upon his subjects like dirt, then his subjects look upon him like pirates." Later, he used the term "view as an enemy" to refer to extreme hatred.
