Idiom story
During the reign of emperor Xiaowu of the Eastern Jin Dynasty, the imperial court was in the midst of internal and external troubles. Xie an was famous, but he did not want to be an official. He was reluctant to be an official until he was warmly invited by Yu Bing, the governor of Yangzhou. Before the defeat of the Qin army in Feishui, he resigned and retired to Dongshan of Kuaiji. Later, he was forced to be an official. However, his ambition to retire from Dongshan remained unchanged, and he always wanted to maintain his noble morality.
