Ice and snow
As a Chinese idiom, the Pinyin is l ò UB ī ngzh ú Xu ě, which means the metaphor is novel and ingenious. It comes from preface of Wanjiang compendium.
The origin of Idioms
Liu Dakui of Qing Dynasty wrote the preface to the collection of Wanjiang repaying Songs: "to sing Ruhe, never to return, to carve out ice and snow, and to compile colorful works."
