Idiom story
In the spring and Autumn period, Confucius believed that benevolence included courtesy, leniency, faith, sensitivity, benevolence, wisdom, bravery, loyalty, forgiveness, filial piety and fraternity. The methods of implementation were "do not do to others what you do not want" and "do to others what you want to do, and do to others what you want to achieve". When fan Chi, a student, asked how to be wise, Confucius said, "to serve the people, to respect ghosts and gods, is to know."
