It is a Chinese idiom. Pinyin is f à NY á nzh à Ji à n, which means to dare to offend your elders or the emperor. It comes from Han Fei's Han Feizi, the lower left of waichu Shuo.
The origin of Idioms
Han Fei's "Han Feizi waichu Shuo left bottom" says: "if you offend Yan Jijian, your minister is not as good as Dongguo ya. Please take it as an admonishment minister."
