Baizhouzhijie, a Chinese idiom, Pinyin is B ǎ izh ō UZH ī Ji é, which means that a woman does not marry after her husband's death. It comes from the book with Chen Shi Zhong Shu written by Zhu Xi of Song Dynasty.
The origin of Idioms
Zhu Xi of the Song Dynasty wrote in the book with Chen Shi: "it is said that a friend makes her younger brother very virtuous. She will be able to provide for the aged and care for her orphans, so as to fulfill the integrity of the Baizhou Festival."
