"Lion roar" is a romantic comedy film produced by Centennial Film Co., Ltd., directed by Ma Weihao, starring Gu Tianle, Cecilia Cheung, Xu Shaoxiong and Fan Bingbing. The film was released in Hong Kong on September 28, 2002. The film is adapted from Su Dongpo's "lion roaring in the east of the river". It tells a funny and touching love story between Liu Yuee, a savage wife, and Cheng Jichang, a little man.
Synopsis
In the Song Dynasty, Liu Yuee, a young girl, was beautiful but unruly and willful. One day, Yuee ran into the romantic poet Chen Jichang and left a deep impression on each other. One day, Su Dongpo held a poetry meeting, and yue'e and Ji Chang met again. Drunk emperor < I > (< / I > < I > Mao Jian < / I > < I > ornaments) < / I > immediately marry them. After her marriage, Yuee looks up to her husband Jackie Chan and often beats Ji Chang and his gang of romantic friends. Once, during Yuee's escort on behalf of her brother, Ji Chang had a one night stand with the princess who pretended to be "rabbit Fairy" (< / I > < I > Fan Bingbing < / I > < I >). Yue'e makes a scene in the palace in a rage, and drinks the water to break off all relations with Ji Chang.
