Zhu changzuo (1627-1667), a minister of Qing Dynasty, was a well-known official whose name was Yunmen. He was born in Gaotang prefecture (now Zhu Lou, Liang village, Gaotang County, Shandong Province).
In the 11th year of Chongzhen (1638), the Qing army captured all the counties in Shandong Province. At the age of 12, changzuo was exiled to the north. Later, he was attached to the white flag of the Han army. In 1644, he entered the pass with the Qing soldiers. In 1661, he was appointed governor of Zhejiang by the Minister of industry. There are 12 major achievements, such as suppressing bandits, reducing taxes, exempting arrears of pay, caring refugees, and eliminating military service, all of which are recorded in history and are called famous officials. When he was in office, there was a severe drought and the disaster was serious. He persuaded rich families to offer food and ask the imperial court for relief, and he had to donate his salary to the victims. As a result of his active work, 100000 people have been able to live a full life. Three years later, he moved to Jiangxi governor, but did not take office. He moved to the Ministry of war to supervise Yan, Lu and Yu provinces. At this time, aubai, the assistant minister, wantonly encircled the land and ordered Chang Zuo, Su Nahai, the Minister of state, and Wang Deng, the governor, to take charge of his affairs. Chang Zuo resolutely resisted and insisted that he could not. Aobai disobeyed his will and was furious. He tied up Chang Zuo and his son with Wang Deng. Emperor Kangxi was in charge of the government, and aobai was in charge of the crime. Knowing the injustice of changzuo, he ordered the restoration of the officials and gave them sacrifices and funerals.
