Wang Bencheng (1936 -) is called Yufu, Yuanfu, Baoyu, Qianfu, bieshuzuishan waishi, fohuizi, and fohuishanren. His ancestral home is Sichuan. Born in a scholarly family in Zhanhua, Shandong Province in 1936, he was influenced by his ancestors, studied calligraphy and painting, and was a painter.
He studied landscape from Chen Weixin in 1951 and joined Jinan Chinese Painting Research Association in 1954. In 1974, he worked in the decoration design office of Shandong first Institute of light industry science. He is now an associate professor of Shandong urban employment center. Member of China Artists Association. He is a researcher of the calligraphy and Painting Academy of the Central Museum of culture and history, a member of the Chinese craft artists association, a director of the Chinese Calligraphy Artists Association, an executive vice president of Shandong elderly calligraphy and Painting Research Association, a librarian of Shandong literature and History Research Institute, a vice president of Shandong Zhongshan painting academy, a director of Shandong Overseas Friendship Association, a senior painter of Shandong painting academy, and a national first-class artist. Director of Shandong Huaxia Culture Promotion Association. Jinan Zhongshan painting and Calligraphy Society president. Good at landscape painting. His works include the morning glow of Mount Tai, the night moon of Penglai, the cluster show of Huayue, etc. In 1981, he held the "Jiaodong travel painting exhibition" in Shandong, and his work "Laoshan Lion Peak" was selected as the first "Shandong traditional Chinese painting selection"; in 1986, he held a solo exhibition in Binzhou City, Shandong Province, and in 1987, he held an exhibition of Wang Bencheng, Chen Weixin, and Wu Zehao's paintings on the long march in Beijing, and presented all his works to the Chinese people's Revolutionary Military Museum and the general political department Awarded a certificate of honor. In 1990, he held a personal art exhibition in the Shandong Provincial Art Museum. In the same year, he donated huge traditional Chinese paintings "the towering mountains of China" and "Xiong Zhi Dong Tian" for the 11th Beijing Asian Games, which were hung in the main auditorium of the Asian Games. In 1992, he held an exhibition in the China Art Museum. In 2005, the exhibition of Wang Bencheng and Wang Qianxi's father and daughter paintings was held in Shandong Provincial Art Museum. The selected works of Wang Bencheng's paintings, the collection of Wang Bencheng's and Wang Qianxi's father and daughter paintings and Wang Bencheng's paintings were published. Many of his works have been collected by the Chinese Military Museum, the Great Hall of the people and various Chinese and foreign embassies.
