Facing the severe interrogation of Japanese invaders, Zeng Che said unyielding: do you Japanese love Japan? So why can't we Chinese love China? In prison, Zeng Che went on a hunger strike for death. The enemy forced him to give a supplementary injection, which was ineffective in persuading him to surrender. He was sent to the reformatory of the military police in Peking. Dai Li once sent a letter to him asking him to surrender, but he didn't listen. On September 9, 1940, he was killed by Japanese aggressors in Peking. He was only 27 years old. Li Rupeng was also arrested and killed with him. They were all tortured by the Japanese aggressors, but they did not give in. After Zeng Che's death, sun Dacheng was responsible for the Anti Japanese and traitor killing regiment, which was extended to Beiping. The "Beiping sub regiment" was established, and many traitors, such as Yu Dachun, director of the General Affairs Bureau of the puppet General Administration of construction, were assassinated, while Feng Yunxiu, a member of the regiment, was also arrested or killed in the operation.
