Cao Yan
Cao Yan, male, Han nationality, native place: Wuhu City, Anhui Province, was born in April 1963. He began to work in July 1984 and joined the Communist Party of China in July 1993. Graduated from Anhui University, majoring in national economic management, Bachelor of economics. Later, he served as deputy director of Maanshan development and Reform Commission, in charge of comprehensive planning section (National Economic Mobilization Office), basic industry section (Railway Office), and trade and service development section.

Since July 1984, he has been a member and deputy director of the Ma'anshan Planning Commission. He served as deputy chief of rural economy section of Maanshan Planning Commission in November 1996 and chief of section in May 2000. In July 2003, he served as deputy director of fixed assets investment office (Key Project Management Office) of Ma'anshan Development Planning Commission. In November 2005, he was the chief economist of Ma'anshan development and Reform Commission. In August 2010, he served as deputy director of the development and Reform Commission of Maanshan city.
