Fang Shiyao (1148-199) was born in Puyang. Neo Confucianism in the Southern Song Dynasty.
Fang Shiyao learned from Zhu Xi and took preaching as his later teacher. Working in calligraphy, the styles of Zhuan, Zhen, Fenli, Xing and Cao are all excellent. Xi replied to Cai Ji: "Zhuan, Li Bei Zi, calligraphy and painting are dissatisfied, there is no one to write, so how about Bo Chen's Zhuan?" He died 52 years ago. In the sequel of Zhu Zi and the collection of Weinan, Hanquan jingshe and Huian thatched cottage in Jianyang and Wuyi jingshe in Chongan all left his footprints of following Zhu Xi to study. He had a close relationship with Zhu Xi, including private affairs and friendship. After Fang Shiyao passed away, Zhu Xi wrote his funeral oration for him, and Lu you wrote his epitaph for him He was not a Jinshi, but a preacher.
