Wen Yue is a monk in Linji of Song Dynasty. He is from Nanchang, Jiangxi Province.

Yunfeng Wenyue
(998-1062) Linji monk in Song Dynasty. A native of Nanchang, Jiangxi Province, the common surname is Xu. At the age of seven, he shaved his hair in Longxing Temple, and at the age of 19, he traveled in various places. He visited Junzhou (Jiangxi) Dayu Shouzhi. After Enlightenment, he inherited the law and followed Shouzhi for eight years. After Shouzhi entered the silence, the teacher visited Huinan in Tongan courtyard again and became the first one. He lived in Cuiyan temple and Falun temple in Nanyue, and later lived in Yunfeng in Nanyue, so he was also called Wenyue in Yunfeng. In the seventh year of Jiayou's reign, he lived 65 years. There are two volumes of quotations.
