Han mountain
Hanshan (1546-1623), an eminent monk in the Ming Dynasty, was born in chuomiao Xianfeng village, Hexian County, Anhui Province. The master was born in 1546, the 25th year of Jiajing in Ming Dynasty. His father, Yangao, and his mother, Hongshi, loved Guanyin. At the beginning of his dream, he took the boy with him, and his mother took him in her arms. On the 12th of October this year, bingshen was born when he was ugly.

The 26th year of Jiajing (1547). When the master was one year old, he was seriously ill. His mother prayed in front of the statue of Avalokitesvara: may she be a monk. He soon recovered from his illness. For this reason, my mother sent the master's name to the local longevity temple and named him "monk". the 27th year of Jiajing (1548). At the age of three, the master often sits alone and does not like to play with children. Grandfather often said. This is like a stake. the thirty first year of Jiajing (1552). The master was seven years old. My uncle loved it. Parents are sent to social school. One day when his uncle died, the master said where he was going to die, so he doubted it. A few days later, my aunt raised a son and asked my mother. How can I get into my aunt's womb. Mother claps cloud. idiot. Where did you get into your mother's womb. And I doubt it. It's a question of death and birth. I can't understand it. when he was young, the master was intelligent and brilliant. He was able to read the history of Confucius and his eyes could understand it. He especially liked poetry. Although he studied hard, he had no intention of official career. At the age of 12, he cut his hair into Buddhism. At the age of 19, he received Zen Buddhism. He was a monk in Baoen temple in Nanjing, and then traveled around. When he was in Beitai, Xiufeng of aihan mountain was named Xiufeng. He was one of the four eminent monks in Ming Dynasty. In April of the 11th year of Wanli (1583), Han mountain came from Mt. Wutai because of its reputation as Mt. Laoshan. In the summer of that year, they came to live in a covered mat under a tree near the Taiqing palace. After seven months, the mountain dwellers made a great effort to settle down in the house. Han Shan thinks that Laoshan is a place of success, which is a grand view. However, he sighs at the decline of "all the forest palaces are thorns". He wanted to go to the mountain for a long time, but he didn't want to give up the beauty of Zhong Lingyu, so he stayed in Laoshan mountain to enjoy the scenery. At this time, the old Taoist temple of Taiqing palace collapsed. Because Han Shan was introduced by master Guifeng of Lingshan mountain in Jimo, he got acquainted with the gentry of Jimo, and got the help of the gentry of Jiang and Huang, Taiyan and Yintan, so he used the money from the Empress Dowager to buy the land of Taiqing palace. Haiyin temple was built in 1585 and completed in 16. The grand momentum of the temple, the prosperity of Buddhism, monks and squatters, can be compared with the famous temples of Wutai and Putuo. In the 17th year of Wanli (1589), Geng Yilan, a Taoist of Taiqing palace who was born as a Jinshi, accused Han Shan of occupying temple property. In the 19th year of Wanli, he went to the capital to sue. In the 23rd year of Wanli (1595), Han Shan was exiled to Leizhou, Guangdong Province for the crime of building a temple privately. After his release, Jiean lived for four years at the foot of wuru peak in Lushan Mountain. He went to Baolin temple in Caoxi, 25 kilometers southeast of Qujiang County, Guangdong Province, and devoted himself to writing. In 1623, Han Shan died of illness in Caoxi, aged 78. Hanshan is versatile, familiar with history books, Buddhist scriptures, calligraphy and poetry. He wrote many Buddhist and other works in his life, such as the general meaning of fahua Sutra, the direct interpretation of Yuanjue Sutra, the direct interpretation of Mahayana Qixin theory, the record of guanlengjia Sutra, the decisive doubts of Vajra, the notes of zhaolun, the biography of the true Shadow of the eighty-eight ancestors, the notes of Zhuangzi neipian, the notes of Laozi Daode Sutra, and the direct reference to the doctrine of the mean. There are also Hanshan sleepwalking collection and Hanshan quotations compiled by disciples. His poems are free and easy, and there are many profound Zen theories hidden in them. It is said that Emperor Wen of Wei met an old monk riding from the western regions on his way to Fanzhi. He looked very honest and kind. He dismounted and asked Emperor Wen to say, "the old monk is too tired to walk after a long journey. Can your majesty give me a sleeping place to have a good rest?" Wei Wendi said: "yes, you can choose one nearby." The old monk immediately took down his luggage and spread it out. Exhibition, exhibition, in the twinkling of an eye, covered more than 500 li of the surrounding ground. Wei Wendi was very surprised and thought that this man was actually an immortal. At this time, the old monk got on his horse and galloped forward. Behind him, there was a big mountain running closely with him. Wei Wendi was so shocked that he cried out: "how can you be so naive? Don't stop here as soon as possible!" After such a shout, Dashan, who was running, immediately stopped in Fanzhi, and the old monk disappeared. This mountain is the "Han mountain" in Fanzhi.
