Zhang Xin
Zhang Xin, born in Beijing on August 24, 1965, is of American nationality. He married Pan Shiyi in 1994 and returned to Beijing in 1995 to join hands with his husband in the construction industry to create their own real estate company, SOHO China, and become the CEO and co-founder of SOHO China Co., Ltd.
Ms. Zhang Xin and her husband Pan Shiyi founded SOHO China Co., Ltd. in 1995. Zhang Xin is one of the first private entrepreneurs to invest in commercial real estate in China. Under her leadership, SOHO China Co., Ltd., which she co founded with her husband Pan Shiyi in 1995, has become the largest real estate developer in Beijing and the largest grade A office developer in China. As the CEO of SOHO China, she led the company to successfully list on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in October 2007, creating the largest commercial real estate IPO in Asia so far. Zhang Xin is currently the CEO and executive director of SOHO China.

Personal experience
Zhang Xin was born in Beijing on August 24, 1965.
He settled in Hong Kong with his parents in 1979. At that time, life was difficult, so I worked as a timekeeper in Hong Kong factory assembly line for five years. After that, Zhang Xin went to the University of Sussex to study economics with 3000 pounds, a wok and an English Chinese dictionary.
In 1992, he graduated from Cambridge University with a master's degree in development economics.
From 1992 to 1995, he successively worked in Goldman Sachs and travelers group, a Wall Street investment bank, in charge of China's direct investment projects.

On July 15, 2014, Pan Shiyi and Zhang Xin both appeared at Harvard University to sign the "SOHO China Grant" agreement with Harvard University on behalf of SOHO China foundation, with a contract amount of US $15 million.
