Liao Wenjin (1773-1834), named Shaoan, was born in QingKeng village, kanshi Town, Yongding County, Fujian Province. Liao Hongzhang's grandson.
Life
in the 13th year of Jiaqing, Enke (1808) was elected; in the 16th year of Jiaqing, xinweike (1811) was elected; in the palace examination, Jiang Liyong ranked the first three in the second grade (the first three, the second 92 and the third 142). Liao Wenjin ranked 67th (70 in total) in the second grade A, and was awarded the title of editor of Hanlin Academy (zhengqipin), editor of Licheng National History Museum (zhengqipin), editor of Wenyuan Pavilion. He was appointed as the chief examiner of Jiangxi Township in the first year of Daoguang, and was appointed as the chief examiner of Nanyang Prefecture and the Department of nanruguang Taoism (from Sanpin) in the second year of Daoguang, and he was punished repeatedly.
