Zhang Dexing
Zhang Dexing, male, born in 1966, doctor, researcher, doctoral supervisor; Professor of Graduate School of Chinese Academy of Sciences; executive director of Chinese society of Entomology; deputy director of Institute of zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and head of molecular ecology and evolution research group.
Personal profile
After graduating from Shandong Agricultural University in July 1986, he was admitted to the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences to study for a master's degree. In June 1987, he was sent by the state government to study in France. After receiving a master's degree and a doctor's degree in cell and molecular biology from Joseph Fourier University in France, he went to work in the University of East Anglia in early 1992. He was selected into the "100 Talents Program" of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1998, returned to work in December 1999, and was funded by the National Science Foundation for Distinguished Young Scholars in 2000. In the final evaluation of the 100 Talents Program of Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2003, he was rated as excellent and received follow-up funding. In 2004, he was selected as one of the first batch of national candidates for the "New Century Talents Project". engaged in molecular biology, especially molecular ecology and molecular evolution, in trends in Ecology & evolution, proceeding of the National Academy of Sciences (USA), nature, Journal of molecular evolution, molecular ecology, insectmolecular biology, Molecular biology and evolution and "molecular tools for screening bio" diversity:PlantsandAnimals ”About 30 SCI papers have been published in more than ten international academic journals and English Monographs, and four of them have been selected into the isissential Science Indicators Database of American Institute of scientific information, which has a high impact in the fields of environmental and Ecological Sciences and animal and plant sciences in recent ten years High cited paper; two of them are papers after working in China. SCI papers have been cited more than 1500 times by more than 290 international academic journals. after returning to China in 1999, he established the research group of molecular ecology and evolution. Combined with the national development needs and the frontier dynamics of this discipline, the research group has positioned its core research direction as: molecular ecology research on the biogeographical evolution of biological genetic diversity in China, that is, taking the genetic differentiation, temporal and spatial dynamics, distribution pattern of genetic diversity and historical evolution of natural population as the core research direction, with the importance and significance of agriculture (Forestry) In order to provide genetic and evolutionary basis for integrated pest management, biodiversity protection and evolution trend prediction, species with core significance in biogeographic evolution are the main research objects.
