Zhang Xun, a scholar named Mr. Jinxi, was born in Huian County in Southern Song Dynasty. He is the author of Jinxi thatched cottage collection.

First, learn from Zhang Zhen

He also said:

Learn from Zhu Xi again

"Xun was handed down by his teacher and raised by Dumen. He was rarely known by others.
The study of Shihui nunnery prevailed in the spring, which is called Qingyuan school. Its scholars, such as Yang Zhizhi and the generation after Chen Yi, hold a lot of arguments. "Yuelu in the story of nanxuan" refers to the Yuelu Academy written by Zhang Lei, and "shigu in the story" refers to Hengzhou shigu academy written by Zhu Xi. Spreading Zhu Xi's Neo Confucianism in Hui'an
After returning from Wuyi, Zhang Xun built a thatched cottage in Jinxi, houbian village, zhangban Town, Hui'an County. He "experienced" Zhu Xi's Neo Confucianism in a quiet way. He tried to "nourish it before it was developed. When it is about to develop, good will expand and fill it, and evil will conquer it" (volume 79 of Zhu Wen's official documents, the first edition of four series), and finally "got the biography of Ziyang" with Liu Jing. In his later years, Zhang Xun "engraved (Zhu Xi)'jinxi (River)" on the stele, standing in Xiyuan, houbian village, zhangban Town, Hui'an County.
